I purchased a stack W/D from him on Aug. 14, 2018 for tenants who rent from me. He delivered it to Chillicothe. It had a two month warranty. The washer became inoperable and I contacted him on Sept. 23. He kept telling me he would take care of it. Said he wanted to bring another one down in case he could not fix this one. I said great lets do that. I even told him that if he brought another one down and was able to fix this one that would buy the second for another rental unit in the same building. No less than three times from Sept 23 to Oct 3 we spoke on the phone. Each time he said give me a day or two and will call you back. He NEVER would return my calls or set this up and take care of it. I sent him a letter again requesting to please take care of this and honor his warranty and his word. Needless to say I have heard nothing from him. Bought a Dryer from Charlie Adams on Craigslist. I noticed it wasn't working properly within the first month of using it. Charlie told me that if anything went wrong within the first month he would take care of it. I called Charlie 10 times to see if he would come and take a look at it but he never had time. He was either out on service or he was unavailable. Several different times I gave him my address and phone number but he never came on the days we set something up. I called a repairman and he looked over the dryer and let me know that the motor is bad. And also the parts inside the dryer are old and from different dryers. If I could, I would give zero stars. I recently purchased a Refrigerator from Charlie, I'd had a lot going on that week. I had to cancel my first appointment to go look at the fridge my daughter was in the hospital, Charlie messaged me several times over those two days to check on my daughter.after she was released I went to look at the Refrigerator and decided to buy it. I live about 60 miles from his store and asked about delivery he did not hesitate. There was a fee of course but much less than expected. So far it works great. I have read all the complaints and wonder if we dealt with the same person? I did purchase my refrigerator with the understanding that it was a used refrigerator and is only warrantied for 30 days.
