Terrible service. My father and brother went to go pick up a game for me, saw a sign on the door that side theyâre stepping out for 10-15 minutes be back shortly so my father waited, after 10 minutes they tried to go in again, door still locked, they waited 30 minutes no one came back or unlocked the door, my father tried opening the door and knocking, a guys head popped up at the counter, shook his head and then put his head down again. Another customer tried coming up to the door so my father explained whatâs happening. I also tried calling them several times and they never answered. I then went to another GameStop who was FANTASTIC! Shout out 103rd!! We asked them to call their Atlantic store to see if everything was okay bc no one was answering, and the man on the phone was very rude, said systems were down he wouldnât close the store for no reason and very quickly got off the phone. THANKFULLY 103rd had the game we were looking to purchase and immediately took care of us but this was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. If your systems are down, put that on the door so people arenât waiting 30+ minutes for you to âcome backâ when youâre sitting right there and not answering the phones to explain either....
   Read moreWent here today and spent over $200 on ps5 headset and essential gift cards so I could play my brand new ps5 I bought from target and the 2 guys working did not put one of the essential gift cards in the bag and I did not notice it until I got home . When I went to the store there was nothing they can do and did not help me at all . One of the guys said he watched the cameras and seen the employee put it in the bag but the problem is he only put one of them in the bag . The guy that helped make the purchase even admitted to having multiple gift cards down and it could have possibly been mixed up which must of been what happened and they wonât admit theyâre wrong . On top of all that they extremely rude giggling and at the situation and showing they had 0 concern at their mistake . I don't know what kind of training they received but all I witnessed was disgusting pushy sales tactics directed towards a niave young man. Making Ludacris statements meant to demean the customer or shame them for not purchasing a warranty. And even after refusing twice, they still tried to push him. I've never seen that type of behavior from a GameStop employee. After witnessing that I made sure to quickly shut down any attempt to try the same thing with me, but they were persistent until I made it plain to them that what they were doing was rude and uncalled for. I will continue to shop at my local GameStop but I can't believe what I saw in there today.
