This place is a haven for alcohol abuse and drunk drivers. You do your best to boycott this establishment due to the lack of morality and ethics of the staff.
I entered this establishment 40 minutes before closing, on a Tuesday, reviews indicated they had good wings. Upon entry it was obvious this was a local watering hole for many locals, for their harassing sexual comments and innuendos to the female bartender were obviously too common place. She wasn't bothered though, she was clearly gunning for tips. It was also clear, that everyone at the bar was drunk, no worries because that is what most do at the bar, I have and do, but I don’t drive. Megan, the bartender, even made a comment to me, "these drunks are not going to remember any of their conversations or deals tonight". As closing time approached, 11pm, a few more people trickled in. One couple in particular, a tall muscular man bald with a goatee about 50, attached to his side was a women similar in age with long brown hair and blonde highlights. Upon entry their words were slurred, movements clearly inhibited. No worries, for they quickly ordered shots of fire ball to sober them up, and the Megan was on it. The couple and the bartender joked about how long they knew each other as the gentleman ordered a beer to chase his shot.
Meanwhile, another regular patron, hefty man with a beard who rambled on about his money and love to play guitar, his favorite line "I'll play any guitar with a quarter or a pesos", for the record he was one of the 'drunks' Megan referred to above. He ordered another shot before getting the bill. He got his bill, keys in hand, and said he was going to another bar for a few more rounds, the only thing clearer than him driving was his intoxication.
Megan started her last call about 15 till, and was clearly trying to add to everyone's bill. Asking every patron how many more beers or shots they wanted before she cashed them out. One gentleman, they called Mailman, was asked "can you drink two more beers before you drive?", he said he only wanted one, and she asked him again, and then again, we went with one. I was in disbelief.
Meanwhile, the drunk couple. Well, they ordered their second round of shots, and argued back and forth on who was to pay of this round because they were alternating, and clearly admitted they had 2 shots before this bar. The female, rejected the next round, but the gentleman persisted, I mean why not because Megan was there with bottle in hand ready to poor, so she got on board and did that round. She was clearly peer pressured by the guy and the bartender was the enabler.
While this is going on, a cook from the back, short Latino man, with short hair and bad teeth (like Meth teeth), keep coming to bar to fill up his cup with crown royal, he took the bottle from the wooden cabinet below the bar. Like it was his own stash. I was two feet from him and watched him poor it, he did this 3 times during by 40 minute visit, and easily drank the last 3inches of the crown bottle. I was impressed, but not the high five kind of impression.
As I was cashing out, the stellar couple to my right did what they did best. Another round of fireballs, well he did a fireball and the girl did a cinnamon toast crunch. He even added another beer in there, he was truly efficient, as I watched him poor leftover fireball shots into his beer, ensuring he got every drop.
Then I left the bar, I went outside to make a phone call, and then I was graced his my biggest fear, yet it was clear this was a regular event. The couple came staggering out of the door, the guys had keys in hand, and got into his 2 door green explorer...
Read moreHave to say in the year and a half that I've eaten here which is probably at least 8 times now they have gone down hill. The food used to be amazing I dont know if they have new cooks, they changed supply vendors or if we just keep catching them on bad days but the food and service isn't what it used to be. We got wings to share at our table while waiting on our food to come out and they were barely seasoned and cold and pink in the middle, the french fries i got were way overcooked, the salad was soggy and the tomatoes tasted as if they had gone bad, the only thing that was good was the fried pickles but the $0.55 cent charge for more ranch because the 1 cup for the 5 ppl at the table wasn't enough kinda ruined that. It wasn't busy there was maybe 5 other tables while we were there but our food took forever and we sat with empty drink cups for the entire meal. The only time the server came back to us after giving us our food was to give us the check and when we tried to tell her that the tomatoes may have gone bad and show her the cold under cooked wings we were met with attitude and were told if we didn't like it to either order something else or eat somewhere else. When we asked to speak to a manager we were informed that there wasn't one there at that time. Needless to say we were definently disappointed with our meals this is the 3rd time in a row that we've left hungry and disappointed.... It was monday sept. 27 and it was...
Read moreOn March 25, 2025, at 8:41 PM, I visited Extreme Wings on Atlantic Boulevard. I clearly told the waitress that I wanted a 10-piece Memphis Sweet with medium heat, ranch for the dressing, and a side of garlic mushrooms.
When I received my order, I noticed that out of the 10 wings, eight were drumettes (the thicker, meatier pieces), and only two were flats. Typically, most restaurants provide an even split of five flats and five drumettes.
At 9:34 PM, I decided to call the restaurant to address the issue. I spoke to the waitress who took my order, and she explained that their wings are served as “chef’s choice”, meaning the kitchen decides the mix of wing types. I explained that most places usually serve an even split, but she insisted that’s not how they do it and asked if I wanted to speak with a manager. She was polite and professional.
When the manager got on the phone, she simply reiterated what the waitress had said. At no point did she ask how she could fix the issue or offer a proper resolution. The only thing she suggested was bringing the wings back so they could re-toss them in sauce, rather than replacing or correcting the order.
Because of this lack of customer service and willingness to resolve the issue, I have decided that I will not be returning to...
