Magnolias Hair Studio — Local services in Jacksonville

WARNING!! NO STARS FOR THIS OWNER! I went to get my hair highlighted. Tracy, the owner understood. I was looking to get a partial highlight, and that I had a 5-6 mth old box color on my hair, she did a test strip, it came out fine, then did the partial,, it turned out good .

A month later 5:30,pm, after work, I go get the full highlight with Tracy. Tracy brought up the box color and decided to do something different this time. I asked if she was she sure since the partial came out fine, why change?, She said “yes, it will be fine.. that all her products are Top of the line from Europe and she’s been in business for 30 years”. ?ok

Well, My hair turned out brown. Not A full highlight…no highlights at all in fact!! She even covered up the last highlights she did!

She apologized and said she could remove the color if we do it fast…. “It just can’t stay on more than 30 minutes” she said she’s done this before.

Exhausted, I went thru the prices, and was happy the ordeal was finally over and my hair was dry,, so I paid. (she charged me $200 +!!) I just wanted to go home and sleep, it was a long day… I didn’t noticed the actual color because her lights are horrible and it was 10:30 pm when I left….However, I’m SURE She saw!!!… my hair was RED and damaged!!!… and.she said nothing!!

What Professional allows you to walk out the door with hair color you did not want, due to her error???

I reached out to her the very next morning when I noticed the color…, she Never responded. I looked her up on the Better Business Bureau and she is not registered. (Of course) I submitted a complaint anyway, and still have not heard anything back.

This is not a Professional, you want working on your hair. The least she could’ve done was called me back and asked if she could fix it. Or give me my money back!! I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed…. It was a horrible experience. Don’t let her...

Where do I start!!! I can’t say enough good things about Magnolias & the glamour techs!! I walked in pretty nervous with extremely long & dry hair that had not been trimmed in a very long time. Tracy was awesome and even educated me on the products she would be using in my hair that day and walking me through every step! She has such a bubbly and calm energy, I was in heaven! Oh and the entire place smells AMAZING!! My hair absolutely loved the shampoo & conditioner she used. Tracy listen to exactly what I wanted. She trimmed 2 inches off my hair, blow dried and curled it for me and it feels so healthy and doesn’t tangle anymore! I didn’t have to wash my hair for 5 days! I already have my next appointment booked for a shampoo & blow dry next week for a photoshoot my fiancé & I are doing! I refuse to trust any other salon with my hair ever again!! I also plan to get some products to take home like the dry shampoo because I need to smell like those products...

I have been going to Tracy for all my hair needs for 2 years and I will not go anywhere else! Magnolia Hair Studio is always super clean.
