This place is delightful and warm and you just want to grab a book, pick a booth, and stay for a while. I love that they have fun niche books mixed in with to the more popular titles you might be more familiar with. I even found some titles that made me giggle like: The Field Guide to Dumb Birds in North America. It’s great that in addition to new books, the bottom shelf features used books as well. (If you have gently used books lying around, whether they are old favorites or in your TBR pile consider donating them to the store for a discount on your purchase.)
I fell in love with these Reader Guides created by author, Veronica Eden. They are so fun @veronicaedenuthor and such a great idea! As well as books and snacks, there are a handful of neat finds that would make good gifts. I left with two enamel pins, a toothy shark and a smiling sun. (The sun for Isabel and me, and the shark for Stephen. It reads “LIVE EVERY WEEK LIKE IT’S SHARK WEEK” which is perfect for a poker player.)
When I returned with Stephen he purchased a few more pins to go with his shark, which he added to a thrifted hat he picked up in town. We spoke to one of the owners while we were there, and I had spoken to the other on my first visit. The store is owned by two sisters, both lovely humans, and I’m so glad there’s a place like this in the area. I wish you all were closer because I would spend a lot of time here. Especially considering you have regular events, like a Cozy Gamer’s Night and crafting like Friendship Bracelet Making Class. Looking forward to my next visit. (Perhaps I’ll bring you all...

They had hot bevvies which was so nice because it was chilly out. We made some friends while waiting. Literary Lounge goes above and beyond for their patrons and I cannot recommend them enough!
The cutest bookstore! My friend & I stumbled upon it this week and we love it!! So many great options and the decor is so cute. They have So MANY events to check out, I’m sure there is something for everyone!

Read moreSo excited to finally have a bookstore in this neighborhood! It seems to have a "something for everyone" type of curation focused on recent bestsellers, popular titles from the last decade, and beloved classics. General fiction is the largest category, but there is a healthy mix of genre fare, popular nonfiction, and a cute children's corner. Be sure to explore all the nooks to see everything that's on offer. There's also some seating and tables if you'd like to hang out for a while. Best wishes for this shop's success, I will definitely be...
