I go for daily walks through the neighborhood. I live in a Senior Apartment across the street from the establishment. I was on my return home from my morning walk and popped in to get something for lunch. I ordered the Quiche Dinner to go and a Nettles&Peppermint while I wait. The Bakery was quite busy, which is great…I was directed to wait in the dining area, which I did…. It took probably 10 ish minutes (closer to maybe 15). A polite young woman brought my order to me, I asked for a bag as I was walking. I walked home, Settled in from my walk, etc, and sat down to have my Tea and Quiche The tea is delicious…. The Quiche is burnt, dried hard pastry and looks like a hockey puck! I am so disappointed…. I admire that you have a “Service Fee” instead of tips, however… in this case CUSTOMER SERVICE Failed in Quality Control and providing the Customer with the best quality products ordered! Not a satisfied customer ☹️

I really like the food at this place. First, you walk in and have to wait in line to order and pay, so I recommend taking the time to read the menu a bit to order faster. Everything they have is delicious. The bread is, without a doubt, the star of the place. They make it there, cut it there, and sell you flour, pre-made bread, and everything else you need. It's really good. The sandwich we had is super soft and tasty; it looks simple but it's very good. The drinks are good too. Overall, it's a nice atmosphere (they have a very nice outdoor patio where you can hang out with your pet) and there's a small area for small children inside. I definitely recommend this place. It's small, cozy, and they sell really good breakfast food. Something important: The tip is already included with everything you buy.

This was our first time at Community Loaves and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious and most ingredients are locally sourced which I really appreciate. Bread is sourdough and they sell flour and sourdough starter. I got some flour for my homemade sourdough baking. My mom got bread to go and they sliced it for her. I enjoy that the menu is not too long and simple enough to choose from. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. Coffee is also great. Prices are very reasonable for such high quality of food. The interior is very cute and unique. Place feels very kid- and family-friendly. Staff is nice and knowledgeable, they were happy to answer all of my questions. I cannot wait to bring friends and family here for brunch in the near future!

YALLLLLL This place will have me in a chokehold forever! The secret is definitely out, and you'll need to prepare for a line and likely little parking. But, plan accordingly, and you will get to partake in the yummiest baked goods ever to bless your mouth. Check their schedule online for different breads and goods available on different days. They have some products available daily, so regardless of when you go, you will and should walk away with amazing goods. I ate a quiche meal in the cafe area and when I tell you I had to hush my mouth many times because I was saying expletives throughout every bite. The crust for the quiche was divine, so perfectly cooked, golden, flaky, the best crust I've had ever. I cannot praise this crust and quiche more! The egg and spinach were awesome. The sourdough is why you come here though. It's just so good, fresh, perfect, and better than most! I got rosemary and garlic loaves (some for friends and family). The smell is heavenly and it was hard to resist eating it all before getting home. You can do so much with the bread. They also give you the convenient option of slicing the whole loaf for you. Of course, you have to get a box of goods to go, which mine included a cardamom swirl, ham & cheese croissant, and cream cheese danish. All of these tasted so delicious and would be a repeat offender of everything I got here. The cafe area inside is very cute and a nice place to enjoy whatever you bought. My chocolate milk hit different in this quaint little area. They have a cute area outside that is also a wonderful place to kick back with your food and enjoy the day (weather permitting). Regardless, don't forget to clear your plates before leaving. They don't accept tips because they give their employees a living wage, but they shouldn't have to clean up a crumbled mess. The service was great and very friendly. They moved the line quickly, so don't be deceived.

This place is a wonderful addition to the community and I hope it's...

I'm 35 weeks pregnant. We woke up this morning needing to stretch and get some walking in. My husband and I head over to Community Loaves in 90 degree weather so that we can enjoy our usual, only to be totally turned off by our experience. It's of course a very busy place, business is obviously doing great there and really, it's because the food is so so good.. but here's why we didn't stay. I find I'm standing in line with a family of 5, 1 adult and 4 kids ahead of us.. I'm overheated from walking and so I need to sit down. There's a table right behind me.. it's a no brainier for me to want to grab the table and let my husband stand in the line. Before I can finish my sentence to him and take the seat,, the owner swoops in and in a very unpleasant, Sheriff like tone says, "guys, we need you to wait until you order before you sit down.. give others in front of you the chance to be seated". My response was very muted. I just said okay and then glanced over at the line.. there was absolutely no way this family was going to crowd around the little table that only had space for two chairs.. I was just completely stunned by the lack of situational awareness. When we eat there, our bill always comes out to about $45.. honestly, I've always felt it was worth it. You only take the kind of walk we did this morning when you really have your heart set on an experience.. but I found myself standing there in that situation feeling like,, no thanks. I'll keep my money; I don't need this. So, instead I turned to my dear husband and I quietly asked him if we could go. He agreed and we took the long walk home on empty stomachs,, but I avoided this horrible feeling of not having my business appreciated. This place has amazing food but even while pregnant, it wasn't worth being...

This place is absolutely a wonderful place to have brunch with your family or friends. It is located in Edgewood, plenty of parking in the morning and probably they can get pretty busy on their rush hour. this place is so cute! when you enter, on the left you will see the counter with all their sweet goods and where you can order. that morning they only have 2 sweet choices which was a butter cream filled cake and chocolate muffins, believe it or not I did not try any of the sweets but I got their strawberry jam and I tried it yesterday and it was sooooo good!!!!!!!! very fresh and the sweetness is not over the top. we ordered Foccacia Egg Sandwich added sausage, Hummus Focaccia Sandwich and added a sausage and their strawberry sourdough pancake as for drinks we have strawberry lemonade and the strawberry latte. ohh my goodness! the food was amazing! The focaccia bread was fresh and soft and the egg and the sausage compliments each other it was good! I did not try the Hummus Focaccia sandwich but it looks amazing too and the pesto that was put on it smells so fresh! my favorite of all was the strawberry sourdough, I can eat that everyday! I don't know what to tell you but if you are thinking of a place to eat, this is a must try place! very cute and they have plenty of seating inside and out! All the staff was...
