The Market Place — Local services in Janesville

We were in Harbor Freight. We bought a black tool bar with a wood top and lots of drawers. It is on large rollers that lock in place. The side has a horizontal bar. I am using this in my kitchen as a counter area in the middle of the kitchen. My plates, cereal bowls, knives, forks, spoons, steak knives and other utensils fit in the top drawer. It's perfect. I don't have to struggle to put the dishes up on the shelf anymore I have dropped the Corelle plenty of times. I was able to move my glasses down for easier access.

I love using the Yukon Tool chest in my kitchen. The drawers all came with heavy liners. The drawers are very quiet on their tracks. My bottom drawers are very deep. I managed to move all of my kitchen canned goods into the two large drawers. This freed up a large cupboard I needed for pots and pans, and plastic bowls. I have a pantry downstairs but I won't have to be running down there constantly.

My rolls of tin foil, plastic wrap, etc. Is now in the Yukon. So convenient. I also got rid of a counter container which is actually my vintage cookie jar from my wedding shower in 1963. It is pottery and I still have the lid. It can now be used for sugar cookies that I make about once a month. I still have drawers to use. I already know what else I will be organizing. We sold our large house and downsized two years ago. I am freeing up some much needed cupboards in the kitchen. The Yukon may not be for everyone's kitchen, but it sure works in this home. I love it. This is Harbor Freight's own brand, I believe. Oh. The entire thing locks, so if we go on trips and vacation, all my drugs can be locked up, as well as a pistol. New store. Very nice. Has tons of options for restaurant type eating inside besides Wahlburgers. Has a great produce section. A huge floral department with tons of selections. They have a bakery and a pastry section which is always filled with goodies and can be made to order. The meat dept and deli is also very good and they even have an aged meat section. They have a smaller frozen and dairy it seems but the grocery and the misc sections are huge. They have a lot of bonus things you may see at like Walmart or Target so you can do it...

This strip mall has a history of not being able to keep businesses for a long period of time. They now have Harbor Freight, Ashley Furniture, and Anytime Fitness. Hopefully these stores are successful and last a long time. It seems this area can't get rid of that "ghost town" feeling since The Marketplace has struggled and now Shopko is closed. I've always thought it was a prime location and have always been confused as to why it isn't...
