I originally had a glowing review for these guys over a year ago. Now, nobody knows what they're doing. Sent my wife's phone in for a screen repair that's it. They fixed the screen but had no connectivity to service. They flat out tried to blame it on us with the fall the phone had over a year ago where service was never an issue. Told them to check again and sure enough their board tech knocked a chip off the board and they said they were ordering a brand new phone. 5 days go by and they say they have our new phone. Show up, grab it leave. No service because they never put the Sim card in because they lost it. Guy who was in front of me during first pickup also walked in behind me without his Sim card. They managed to find it after searching in the back yet the phone still has no connectivity. The kicker, the phone is entirely of used parts where the outside is in worse condition then it started. They also tried to recharge us again for the screen repair. Absolutely horrible experience from the ground up. Update: after going back and forth between t-mobile and ubreak, t-mobile says the 3rd party international parts are registered to someone else and we are unable to connect. Store continues to deny accountability and blaming it on carrier issues. Options were either refund for glass only, not anything about the fact that they damaged parts besides what was being fixed and go buy ourselves a new phone, or wait all over again to be met with the same issues. Avoid this store at all cost. They'll lie about their solutions, and continue to blame anybody...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI want to give a huge shout out to Rachel - she is an amazing young woman who impressed me so much and took the extra time to truly care about me as her customer! She absolutely touched my heart and went way above and beyond what she needed to do for me. Thank you Rachel! She also was training a newer employee and asked if I minded taking a little bit of extra time so she could teach him what they needed to work on for me. So professional and I could tell that Asa was listening to everything she was saying and wanted to learn all he could! And today society half of our fast food restaurants have her lobbies closed because weāve got these young kids that donāt want to show up to work and these two young adults were so eager and was so professional they deserve to have a shout out and be praised. I also got to spend some time and meet the owner and manager of this particular branch Alex. Also a younger adult who went to the same high school that my kids want to several years earlier and I was so impressed and how he was handling his employees and his customers I had spent two hours earlier different electronics store trying to get the same problem fixed and was not treated anywhere as nicely as at UBreakā¦. I know in the next month the store is gonna be rebranded but I think that you break we fix deserves to be recognized for their employees, their understanding, their big hearts, and a shout out! I highly recommend if you have any kind of electronic or item that needs to be looked at you make this store...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took my phone in to ubreakifix because I was having to charge my phone 2 times during the day/evening. When phone was new, charge would last all day, but its old now. I dropped off my phone to ubreakifix, they tested my phone and came back everything fine with my phone except the battery. They replaced batteries I paid a bit more then $86.00. Immediately I noticed I still needed to charge the battery 1 or 2 times during the day/evening. After a week I called ubreakifix and explained the problem I was told I needed to drop phone back off and they would need it most of the day. They needed to test it to make sure something else isnt wrong. I said you already checked everything and said was battery. They then said to me: Well many customers come back after a few months claiming battery not working trying to get a free replacement. I said it hasnt even been a week. Are you accusing me of lying? Trying to scam you? Reply: well just saying in the past others have tried to get free batteries. I said well I just wanted a working battery. You supposedly replaced it, but its doing same as my old battery so how do I know you actually replaced my old battery? You distrust your customers, unfortunately I cant trust ubreakifix.
