hello ... I decided to write a few words about the service in the Chicago-Fullerton location ... I bought cabinets and chests, I spent several hundred on this equipment, which is quite nice ... I decided to pick it up on Sunday, so I called the store if I could ... a terribly unpleasant lady answered and immediately announced I don't think anyone will load them for me, I have to have them!!! someone to help me and as she hung up the phone she swore that some idiot was trying to pick up the cabinets todayđ¤ I showed up at the store, I probably met the manager's assistant because she didn't introduce herself, I asked her right away and told her that I should have a big car because they wouldn't go to the back room twice... unfortunately there was room for one, so I asked to leave it aside, I'll be back in 10 minutes,, I'm back, the locker is waiting... so I say I'm here, and the manager's assistant says take it and load it ((400-pound box on a pallet!) so I asked for help,,, the same lady, after asking the general manager, took her to the back, looked at me ironically, came back in great anger with her friend, who was constantly cursing at everything and everyone that she had to load my locker on Sundays, and finally loaded it đ. So the service in this location - a disaster, very . not nice and downright (it wasn't the first time). In the end, the cabinets were very good, but the service in this location was really a disaster and I would rather use another one, come to this one, I'm really close, best...

When I asked to return a purchase and gave them my phone number and ID for purchase, they immediately copped an attitude and said âwe need a receipt or you canât return thisâ. I told them I was able to do this at two other Chicago HFs and they responded with a super annoyed âwell this is our stores rules sorryâ and gave me no other options. I had to suggest a âcan I show you a digital receipt instead?â or else I wouldnât have been able to return the part. I asked the store manager if he could help me find a certain part and he literally said âit dependsâŚiâm in a hurryâ đ¤Śââď¸ he pointed me in the general area of the back and I spent about 10 mins looking for it with no luck. I tried to find him to get some help getting the product and when he saw me in the very back corner, I watched him literally go around the very back employee section to the other side of the store so he could try to go down the far side aisle to avoid me. Not to be rudely avoided, I doubled back and surprised him by standing outside the far aisle back door and trapped him with a question. When he saw I wasnât going to give up, he gave me slightly more specific directions and I was able to find it.
Unfortunately I spent about $250 there and they deserved $0 of it. I will never go to that store again and hope this location closes down because the employees and mgr at the Broadview location are 20x better and...
   Read moreStore manager, Sam, refused to accept my return. Made me call corporate right there in the store and have them look up the purchase and assist instead. He insinuated I was lying and that I was trying to run a scam. Fortunately, corporate was apologetic and understanding, helping me not only with the return but also to file a formal complaint. While I was working through this with corporate, Sam left the building and shook his head at me on the way out. I guess he couldn't be bothered on his way to lunch. I was just going to exchange for a larger one, but instead took the refund so I can purchase elsewhere. Now I understand why this location seemed so different than other stores. Harbor Freight may want to reevaluate hiring practices given today's...
