Las Islas Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Jefferson Township

If i could give it 0 stars i would. When i first walked in it was busy and the security guard stated someone will seat us. We told him we wanted the bar and he said okay. Another couple walks in after us and he tells him to sit where there was a sudden opening at the bar. I got upset and once there was another opening i told him im sitting over there since you skipped us. He said okay. Me and my sister are getting drinks at the bar. My friends say they are coming which was closer to close. They arrived around 1ish and we sat at a table for us all to sit (which we already had drinks and brought them over to the table with us) took someone 20 mins to even come to our table so my friend goes to the bar to order and they tell him he has to wait for his server. The server finally comes to take our order. WE ONLY ORDERED the 6 shots of frozen margarita. When we got our bill back my friend didn’t check and paid cause they were rushing everyone out at close. I told her to send me a pic of the receipt and they had charged us 2 drinks AND the frozen marg shots. He also tipped himself because he was horrible with an attitude so we decided not to tip him. Unfortunately my friends sent me the receipt and it showed all the charges. I told one of the bartenders about our situation and he said he would tell them about the extra charges. Such a HORRIBLE experience! First time there and it'll be the last! The restaurant was empty so there was no reason why our meals had to come out so tasteless and burned. I ordered the shrimp tacos which we breaded and fried. I felt like I was eating fried oil and crumbs, made me nauseas that I could continue. My mom ordered the steak and shrimp, it was over cooked and burned. When we mentioned our problems to the server, she tried he best to make it better but not once did the manager come out to talk to our table. Every ten minutes a new plate arrived. When we asked for the check, they didn't even bother to give us any discount considering we left everything on the plate. Finally I said something to our server. Such a horrible experience. The waitress kept rushing us the entire time and clearly had an attitude from the start. We tried to order drinks but the waitress kept telling us we couldn’t have certain drinks since there was no bartender. Only thing we could order was beers and margaritas. I got a strawberry margarita and as a garnish they add pineapple, which I wasn’t aware of. I told the waitress I’m allergic to pineapple and she looked at me as if I was crazy, took the margarita and poured it in a different glass without the pineapple. If you’ve ever been here you know they have a pretty big open bar and can see the bartender (if they had one) making drinks. She clearly didn’t care or take into consideration my allergy. Clearly, the staff needs to be retrained! I also ordered Mojarra Frita and sadly, the fish was cold in the middle. I didn’t eat...
