Iâve bought plenty of vehicles and this place by far has the best customer service. Ashley and Greg were both fantastic to work with a low pressure. Greg gave me some great education on finances and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. Ashley was awesome to work with and very personable. They make a great team! Iâm in love with my jeep! Thanks!
Update:
All of the above is still true. HOWEVER, pictured is the jeep a bought. The running boards werenât working as they should. I found that it didnât have a fuse so I went to the parts store and purchased a new fuse for it. After installing the new fuse, they seemed to be stuck from only moving an inch to 2 inches from the bottom to folding up as they should. I called the dealership and they were extremely nice and understanding about what the problem was and I even spoke with 2 individuals that were more than willing to help. We scheduled an appointment and they even offered to pick it up from my work which was 45 mins away from them and give me a loaner vehicle for the day. All of this was exceptional service.
This is where I probably underestimated used car dealerships.
The manager calls me the day before our appointment( which had been scheduled for a week at this point) and proceeds to tell me that they will not service my running boards. Because âwho is going to pay for it?â He tells me that it would be a couple thousand dollars to fix them if I still wanted them in working condition. The running boards themselves are $1,500. Then tells me they took the fuse out because those are âall unreliableâ and they he recommends I just look at them as just âyour standard running boardsâ. Thatâs all fine. My big thing was 0 people mention this to me before I purchased this almost $30k vehicle considering this feature was something I really liked about this jeep.
On top of that the manager told me itâs a used vehicle and youâre gonna have problems with used vehicles. And then he says, âjust like the Subaru you traded in, it needs a new clutch.â The manager was the one who drove the vehicle to appraise it and said it drove well. The clutch was replaced last year and itâs a nice clutch that weâve put in plenty of sport cars.
The fact he would compare my âburned out clutchâ from my trade in and the reason why my running boards on my new vehicle donât function properly was very very tasteless.
I understand this is a used car dealership, unfortunately itâs not different from any other car dealership, well aspects of it.
Would I recommend this place to someone, yeah I still probably would. Would I recommend to everyone, no. Would I buy another used car from themâŚ
Iâm a salesman as well. You can put on a show all the way up until they sign the dotted line. The difference is how you treat them...
Read moreI was not to pleased with the sales manager and my salesperson. I was made to feel like I was a inconvenience. Was rushed through the deal and never went over trade value or issues with vehicle. The dealership tried to charge me more then the agreed upon initial price. Before paperwork was completed, while sitting in my previous truck, salesperson came out and put an inventory sticker in the windshield. I give all the credit to Greg in finance, staff should take notes from him cause he made it seem like he truly cared about us the customer. What really has upset me is two things, after my test drive I noted multiple issue I wanted corrected, I was told they were and found out hours on the road they were not taken care of. Second is salesperson and sales manager knew I had a long trip home and did not check in with me to see if everything went well. During the drive home noticed several issues with the vehicle and was lucky I didn't have a major failure. The inside of the tires had major dry rot that was not seen on the outside. Only reason I noticed was the tires became soft and I couldn't figure out why. Either way I am out an additional several hundred dollars to fix what should never have been sent down the road after a safety inspection was done. Dont be rushed and if you feel something does not add up then it probably does not. It's your choice if you decide to give them business or not.
Update: Had a call from the dealership a half hour prior to closing one day. Was told on the message I could call back within the half hour. I did not realize they called untill days later since I only had contact with the dealership through email. I responded to the phone call via email and never received any correspondence back. Two days after I see the owner of the company responded to my review and added a response from deceptive lies from his staff. Says it was inspected but the physical proof is better then a forged piece of paper that says it's safe. Then states someone will contact me about this. I don't understand why the owner would respond to my review and not contact me personally to attempt to rectify the clearly shady deal that happened. Instead decided to have someone else contact me. Which I am still waiting on. I have lowered my fair review from three stars down to one since that's as low as you can give. Only reason the one star is earned was once again because of Greg's caring ius the customer more then the sale . Just very mad now that this dealer is not willing to do anything other then make it out like I am lying. Don't say you want to talk to me about the ordeal and then not attempt to contact me and...
Read moreMy original review, below, is from January 2018 was when I first got my 2018 Grand Cherokee Limited. This current review is regarding something wrong with the transmission on it. There is something not right with the transmission. Both my fiance and I explained what was going on with it, in as much detail as possible, and we received a call that they were not able to find any codes indicating there is something wrong. My fiance told them to keep it over the weekend, to drive it more than just a mile or two, drive it for the weekend, like 30 miles or even 50 miles so they could FEEL there is something wrong. Well, again, they said there are no CODES indicating there is anything wrong. There is DEFINITELY something wrong with it and I don't need a code to tell me that. As much as I love technology, when it comes to vehicles, you have to be able to drive it and feel it. Not sure what to do next but I'm beyond frustrated with this vehicle! I guess it has nothing to do with the auto dealer but I'm frustrated that a code has to be the determining factor on getting my JGCL fixed.
The below review is regarding the sales team back from January 2018:
Working with the team at Havill was a breeze. From the moment we walked in we could tell our experience was going to be different than any other auto transaction. Everyone was pleasant, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and downright caring. We felt like family....
