If I could give this shop a zero star review I would. In the beginning of my journey with Blue Sparrow Bridal all was good. I purchased my dress there and the sales associate was very kind. All things changed I learned about a week later that several other girls in my area had the same dress so I wanted a refund. I asked politely for a refund and they refused so I reluctantly continued paying for the dress anyway up until the point that my dress came in. I went in for my fitting and my dress was absolutely HUGE on me. When the seamstress came in I had to tell her that the waist needed to be taken in even tho it was obviously too big and when i asked for something to be done with the dress she declined and said that she didnt know how much I paid for the dress but if she messed it up she wasnt paying for it.Although I was upset I finished my fitting and left the shop. Several days later one of my family members left a review on the shop telling the honest truth.I called back and once again demanded a refund. She refused again and was very rude. She told me that it was "not her fault that I made the wrong decision" and that "I was just trying to find someone to blame". I also brought up the fact that several other girls have the same dress and she then responded with "I don't know your friends, Elliana!" She also brought up that it was not "not godly" of me to blame her for "my" mistakes and it was horrible that my family members left that review. I wouldn’t recommend anybody going here I had the worst experience ever for a first time bride . First it was payment issues that no one contacted me to tell me there was payment issues . Second I couldn’t get in contact with anyone because their phone line was down so I emailed the owner of the store said she would get in contact with me Monday to get everything situated no call . I emailed all week no one called me at all or emailed me . I had to drive all the way from Deville to Jena just to pay off my dress when they could’ve called or emailed me back . Then as I was explaining the situation she said oh your dress is here and no one told me it was there . They told me that I had to pay off my dress before they shipped it in . Then I came in for my alterations no one told me I had to bring shoes for alterations . If 0 stars was an option I would leave 0 stars . And mind y’all my wedding is in 5 weeks . Blue Sparrow Bridal Co. is one of a kind. Rita Ward did a phenomenal job. She is an amazing person and consultant. Not only did she make the experience wonderful, but also guided me by asking what I liked about the gowns I tried on. I was between 2 choices and I ended up selecting the one I didn’t expect. I went in there with the mentality of selecting a princess gown and ended up falling in love with a mermaid dress. They have a variety of gowns/designers to select from.
