Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Jena

I'm not sure how this place stays open other than that the food is edible when you get it. Tonight was not the first time I've seen a customer leave the drive thru. It was another of those nights at Popeyes where the cashier stopped to check on every item we ordered to make sure they "still had it." It took quite a while. A chicken place potentially out of chicken every time we go through the drive thru? I watched the man behind me lose patience and go across the street to Sonic. Sonic somehow manages to have most of their menu items available at 8pm and they were packed with vehicles. We were the only people going through Popeyes when we pulled up. We have left the drive thru at Popeyes ourselves after being told there wasn't any chicken of any kind at all! What a strange way to try to do business. Tonight, I didn't get my biscuit with the combo meal and I'm disappointed that I didn't get what I paid for. Somebody needs to step in and organize this joint. Going out to eat shouldn't feel...

Me & a friend went through the other day & a lady by the name of shonda was so rude. Very rude !!! Everyone else through the window is always nice. But this lady was mean. We ordered 2 blackened chicken. And we was given regular tenders. Which is fine we go back through. & when we are at the speaker this lady is arguing and yelling at us!!! Telling “No that’s not what you said”. The lady never had to say that and she kept in and on about how we didn’t say it and my friend in the drivers seat is being completely calm and nice & this lady is being a B WORD. I never leave reviews but this shouldn’t you noticed at all. She yanks the food from us back and everything still arguing. We stopped at the Jena Popeyes when we drove through town and took a chance on it. Why do I say it that way? Suffice to say we have experienced bad service and subpar food there before. But this time the food was great, the preparation of our order was quick, and a shoutout to Lashandra who offered us some options to save money by optimizing our order. Fast food restaurants are suffering from employee shortages in this day and age and the folks on the job after to work harder to perform their duties.
