City Mattress — Local services in Jensen Beach

Replacing a mattress is something we do once every decade, if that frequently. Therefor we're never up to date about the materials used, or the techniques used to provide the support. When my wife and I bought our first mattress back in 1967, our choices were very limited, and the entire adventure lasted about (30) minutes. On that day we purchased a 6" thick latex foam mattress. In today's world, buying a mattress can last all day because there are so many mattress choices available to satisfy our needs. Without a sales person like Stuart Rheingold (store manager - Jensen Beach, FL) to help us navigate what seemed like (50+) choices, the purchase process would take a handful of visits to the showroom, and likely a few weeks to complete.

I'm not a patient person, and listening to a sales person educate me on the finer points of mattress design, and the materials used to meet my individual needs, was not an easy thing for me to do. Thankfully, Stuart has been doing this for a lifetime, and he's met impatient people like me before. His professionalism quickly overcame my idiosyncrasies, and before long I understood enough about mattress design and materials, so that with his help I was able to make a mattress selection.

Stuart Rheingold is the real deal. If you're looking for a sales person that knows the mattress business, he's your man. He'll ask you a handful of questions to best understand your wants and needs, and he'll provide you with a few choices to evaluate. If you're like my wife and me, you'll second guess him and yourself a few times,,,,, but he'll stay with you through the entire process. When you're ready for more information , he'll provide it, if you want him to get lost for a bit while you and your partner work through the process, he knows when to do that also.

I live in Vero Beach, FL. Since last Christmas (2018), I continually watched the TV ads and was impressed with the furniture made into beds or some type of lounging option. Today, March 13, 2019 my family and I drove to Jensen Beach to shop/purchase a sofa which had the qualities I mentioned. It was over an hour to reach this store, but I had a mission to buy a sofa. My family and I walked in, I waved to the first salesman I saw, just as a greeting. He was with customers. Moving around the store, I noticed it was monopolized by mattresses. I thought I may have had a misconception of the sales items. In the farthest wall (east wall) from the entrance was a handful of sofas. There were at least 3 other employees in the store besides the gentleman I saw at the door. Two were having a conversation about an item on the floor, but they were not in hearing distance. My family and I began to sit on some sofas, check to see if they were the type I saw on your ads, (they were not), and try to give eye contact to any employee nearby. The two men left our area. I noticed a man on the north end of the store at a large counter using the computer. As I approached, and before I could say anything, he said "someone will be with you". No one approached us...twenty minutes went by and we left. I found out nothing about City Mattress products. I am telling you the competition is tremendous in that area. Your sales must be stellar, and I can say they are not high-pressure sales men, which leads me to believe they are salaried. No response is necessary. I still like the products I saw/see on your ads. Perhaps it is seasonal and I'll watch for them next December. I don't know anything about City Mattress, other than there is no store in Vero. Wishing you a prosperous year. ...

Im taking this Opportunity to recognize the outstanding experience my wife and I received in selecting our new mattress at City Mattress. Starting with the selling process we were very impressed with Jordan Greene our sales consultant at the Jensen Beach Store location. Jordan was very organized and detailed in helping us with the selection process. He was extremely knowledgeable about the various product lines at the store and the mattress industry. Jordan explained the differences in mattress construction among the various mattress manufacturers, helped us in the selection process and the process of elimination with our top three choices when we narrowed it down based on our comfort needs. The final choice Airloom Aire Streamline mattress. Jordan gave us agood pricepoint with the approaching Labor Day sales promotion hence coming within our budget. He was very thorough explaining the store policy which was very reasonable. I told my wife when we left the store that Jordan was a real "Mattress Nerd" if there ever was one. He is patient, helpful, polite and easy to talk to. He was upfront and honest with his opinions. Jordan's work ethic will get him far. Our mattress was delivered today the delivery team arrived ahead of schedule which worked out for us. They cleaned up the packing materials and made the hauling of the old mattress and setup of the new seamless. I think these guys can setup an adjustable bed frame and mattress in their sleep. Congratulatons to City Mattress for assembling a true customer orientated outfit that truly puts the customer first. That is not easy to do and many companies either struggle or fail to provide good customer service. We been to other mattress stores in our search but nothing compares to City Mattress expereince.
