My five year old son has been taking weekly lessons with Karl for about 7 months now, and our family is so excited. He is currently learning Minuet, and sight reading like a champ. Karl’s advice and direction has been invaluable in his progress. He is patient, attentive, and has an inherent love for the craft. Despite the fact that my son started very young, Karl was able to help him understand higher level musical concepts very easily, using interesting anecdotes, examples, and exercises from his many years of playing. Karl has a lovely space for my son to play on his grand piano, as well. I was worried my son Derek will have trouble with piano lesson, Karl has great attribute, and know well how to deal with kids. They get along quite well both onsite and virtually.
