A very bad experience for a first time customer, me. I arrived at 5.52pm on 06/24/2022. Had 4 documents on the front passenger seat before getting out of the vehicle to be vacuumed by the employees. When the vehicle was ready for me to pick up, one of the 4 documents (a money order of $2000 I picked up earlier that morning) had been stolen. I hurriedly left for a branch of PLS to report it stolen, especially because I did not detach the copy and the money order was blank, and the car wash was closing and there was no management staff to make my complaints to. PLS was able to initiate a stop payment, thankfully. I went back to the car wash after reporting the stolen money order at 7.25pm where I met only the 2 people who cleaned out my vehicle. When I went back the next day, I reviewed the camera, not with the manager but with a junior staff, who kept vowing for the two people who cleaned out my vehicle because they were his supervisors. The camera review did not show the inside of my vehicle when it was being vacuumed. I left my number after repeatedly asking to speak to the owner as I am sure he/she would treat the case with the urgency it deserves. As I write this, a week later, no one from the car wash has called, which speaks volumes of their character and credibility. Now, I have to wait for 30 days before getting my money back. I also reported the matter to the police who, hopefully, would conduct investigations. I would not encourage anyone I know to go there. I want to use this medium to apologize publicly to the management and staff of Dr Gleem Car Wash on the reported lost money order. I found it under one of the seats in the vehicle. I was there personally yesterday to tender my apologies. Incidentally, I met with Martin and explained how and where I found the money order. I shook hands with him and felt so relieved. I, hereby, testify to the credibility and character of the organization. Indeed, this is the only place, henceforth, that would be cleaning out...
Read moreI needed a detail after spilling coffee on my passenger seat. I pulled up 8am and they offered me a special of $150. I said sure why not. I asked when it would be ready. They said after lunch time. I said okay I work down the street and can pick up around 5:30pm. They call me at 2:30pm saying it’s ready and I told them it will be closer to 5:30pm. The lady said to hurry that the weather is getting bad and they may shut down early. I called back at 5pm and told them my Uber on the way to drop me off. I arrive and the car looks fresh and clean. However, the seats were still wet and they kept the plastic on. I thank them and about to drive off when my dash says my passenger rear door is still open. I reach over to shut it but the dash still says it’s open. I get out to look and was confused. After 15 minutes of trying to figure it out, an employee asks what’s wrong. Then 5 employees are gathered around trying to help “shut the door”. One of them calls a mechanic from next door, he takes a look and says how about you stop by my shop tomorrow. I stop by and he hooks up his machine. He tells me the sensor is now bad and that there are no after market parts available to him, need to go to dealer. I go to dealer and he says he needs to order part and labor would cost $659! So I am left here puzzled. I use this door every day and some how the sensor is bad after getting a detail. The employees should have went to management to see if they are able to solve the situation. I should have said something to management the day after but I’ve been too busy. Now I drive during the night time and the car light stays on because it thinks the door is still open when it is shut. I hope they see this review and step in to cover the price of the...
Read moreI went to the Dr. Gleem Car Wash located on 249 for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed by the customer service, the completeness of the wash, and how quickly they got everything done!!! This was the absolutely the best car wash experience I’ve had...Since they took such good care of my car, I was convinced they would do the same with my truck. I move around Houston a lot and decided to see if they had a location on the south side of Houston...And much to my delight there was one on Bellaire...FANTASTIC!!!! I made plans to go first thing in the morning. I wish I hadn’t...WORSE CAR WASH EVER. They didn’t vacuum They didn’t shine the tires. They didn’t give me any air freshener. And more.... I don’t think they even washed my truck to be honest.. I was thoroughly disappointed to say the least. I had an appointment in the Woodlands and couldn’t be late... On my way there, I stopped at the 249 location with hopes that something could be done....I showed them my receipt, my truck, explained my situation and how I honestly didn’t ever want to return to the Bellaire location... The manager honored my receipt and took care of me just as well as the day before. I will forever be a customer of Dr. Gleem Car Wash... But only the 249 location.... They not only met my expectations, they exceeded them!!!
HIGHLY...
