This was my first visit there I didnāt have an issue until I was told that I would have to pay a five dollar takeoff fee on my feet when I was getting a pedicure. Iāve never heard of that before. Everything is usually included in the pedicure price however I was informed that because I had shellac gel polish on my feet I would have to pay a five dollar removal fee because I was getting a regular pedicure and not another shellac pedicure then to top that off once they were done with my feet since I only got a regular pedicure there was nothing for me to dry my feet so I had to let my toenails air dry which actually Iām drying them right now with my portable fan. My feet was soaking in plain water until I asked the lady is there something that needs to be put in the water and then she went and got it but I feel like had I would not ask her that. When were you going to put something in the water my feet had already been soaking for at least 15 to 20 minutes in plain water . I highly do not recommend going to this salon. This has been by far my worst experience here in Houston. Also, Iām not sure the person name that did my feet however, I did have to stop her from taking the dead skin off my feet because she was scrubbing it till it was hurting and almost bleeding I was jumpy and she asked if I was tickled I said no itās too hard and itās almost cutting into my skin itās time to buff it! and as Iām reading other reviews, I see that that happened to someone five months ago Iām sorry I didnāt read the reviews before I went there because I definitely would have not gave them...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give a zero rating I would. On April 23rd I called to see if they could do two pedicures. The woman on the phone told me that they could and if I could come now. I live about two minutes away and said sure. When we arrive the pedicure area is full. We wait about 10 minutes and they find us two chairs. We waited about another 20 minutes and finally a technician got done with another client and started with my momās pedicure. Other technicians were finishing up but no one came over to me. They went to the front to do hands. A woman comes in and they bring her to a chair. At this time we have been there close to an hour. A new technician comes and starts the lady they just sat down. At this point my mothers pedicures done and my feet have been sitting in a tub of cold water for an hour. I take my feet out of the tub put my shoes on and start to walk out. A technician yells to me āyou donāt want pedicure anymore?ā I wave my hand and say no. This is the second time in 3 weeks that I have been here and left not happy. The first was when I brought my 4 year old granddaughter and they told me her legs were to short to fit in the tub basin, so they just painted. Then charged me $45 dollars for ānail artā. I wonāt come back and I encourage everyone reading this to go elsewhere. There are way too many good nail salons in our area to put up with this non sense and disrespectful business behavior. This use to be a decent place, but the new owners need a good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in with my 2 sisters for shellac manicures and their star pedicures for graduation. When I called to make an appointment they were very accommodating and worked with me to figure out the best time to come in. Arriving into the salon we were greeted right away with friendly smiling faces, and the salon was very clean. They have a great variety of color selections to choose from! They started our manicures at different times (but that was only because they were attending to other clients at the time), but then let us all start our pedicures together, which was very nice of them to do. All of the tools they used for both our manicures and pedicures came from individual plastic wrappers and they lined the pedicure tub. It was all very clean and sanitary, which is awesome! The staff was so friendly and nice, I cannot stress this enough! So attentive, constantly asking us if we wanted something to drink, and if we liked our colors and nails and options, they even went through and provided us with education about nail and skin care so we can keep our nails looking fresh until the next time we visit.
We paid $53 for a shellac manicure and star pedicure, so very very fair priced! And the star pedicure, even thought it's their most basic option, did so much more or had so much more involved than any other pedicure I've had!
Overall experience was super amazing! I would definitely visit again, and I recommend this place to anyone!!! They...
