Daiso - Japanese Household Goods — Local services in Johns Creek

This is what you'd expect from a Daiso - Japanese products, anime themes, cutesy things. The products are pretty uniform, even across countries. Here's the part I didn't like: I'm from Brazil and we have a toooon of Daisos all over, we've had them for almost 15 years at this point... This is the first Daiso in Georgia, and Metro Atlanta is one of the biggest regions in the US, so it's absurd that it took this long for a Daiso to open here too. So I was very surprised when all the products had descriptions in my native language, Portuguese, only to turn them around and see that they've been IMPORTED from Brazil. Also, this, in turn, certainly makes them much more expensive, since they're imported twice. The prices ranged from $2.25 to $18, which is actually MUCH higher than the price in Brazil (it's sort of 1 for 1, so, the same price as in Brazil, but in USD, which makes it almost 6x more expensive after converting), and even more than in Japan, where Daiso is a hyaku-en shop. So at this point, while it has cute things, it's definitely still more cost-effective to find similar items online.
