7 Tequilas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Johns Creek

Don't usually leave reviews but I was so disappointed in the service that my sister and I received at this restuarant that I will never come back. I thought that since we lived so close and heard great thing about this place that we would go check it out last Friday. It wasn't busy when we got there and was super excited to try the food and drinks. We were seated immediately. After about 15-20min a server came over and asked if our server has been by to get our drink order to which I told her no. She went to go get our server who was on the other side of the restaurant watching one of the tv. Once he finally came we gave him or drink order and food since we had plenty of time to figure it out. After we placed our order we barely saw our waiter the remainder of the night. 30-40minutes went by and my sister's food comes out (still no margaritas). 10minutes later the margaritas come but it's the wrong flavor (my food still has not come out). The bartender fixed our margaritas right and personally brought our drinks to us apologized for the mix up. In between the server would stop at the table and ask how was everything and each time I would tell him my food still want on the table. Finally 30min later he brings my food out and apologize and states that he'll give is a discount due to my food taking forever. We Finally get our check and he states that he took $15 off but or check doesn't reflect it. We finally were able to show him and he states that his manager must have went in and charges us for an additional margarita and the void it out so he was going to fix it. So he comes back and states that the most he could take off was 10% which once again never reflected on the total of or check. I'm not even made about not getting a discount for the horrible service we received because by the end of the night if our check had totalled $100 I would have paid it just to get the hell out that restaurant. If I could give this location -1 I would. I just left this location about 20 minutes ago. I went to the location in Marietta square a couple weeks and loved it! Food, drinks and most importantly customer service were on point. I decided to go to the Alpharetta location today. I ordered a drink, a couple minutes later the bartender did ask if I wanted food. I had made up my mind yet. He disappeared for about 20-25 minutes. In the meantime, another bartender was working the bar. A customer sat at the bar and from their interaction it seemed like he was a regular. After she was done getting him his drink order, this lady did not acknowledge me. She came back about 10-15 minutes later and took the same customers order. After she was done with that, she still did not acknowledge me and proceeded to put up glasses on the bar. Another customer comes and sit downs, she acknowledged him!! I asked for my check and asked her did she not see me???! I’ve been sitting here and she didn’t say anything. She proceeds to tell me that I didn’t say anything to her! I am the customer, why would I need to say anything to you before you even acknowledged me sitting at this bar. She proceeds to be rude and then puts her hand up to me. That for me was very triggering and is a sign of aggression. She calls over the original bartender to print out my receipt. I ask for a a manger and she then shakes her head and starts laughing. I’m not even talking to this lady!! I tell her to mind her business. The manager comes over and claims he would talk to her. He was nonchalant about it. I paid my check and left. I talked to the manager at the Marietta location and he was way more apologetic about...

Our service here was terrible. For reference we came on a Sunday around 1pm, ordered three Coronas, a michelada, queso, steak tacos and a fajita quesadilla. I tend to be lax on servers, especially at Mexican restaurants because I used to serve at one, and this was still the worst service I’ve had in a long time. Our waiter was having a hard time with his English and we were sympathetic to that so we spoke 90% Spanish to him seeing as I can get along fairly well in a restaurant setting. He still despite of that misunderstood my husband’s order (he gave him regular fajitas instead of a fajita quesadilla) and when we brought it to his attention he told my husband very rudely and matter of factly that he didn’t order a quesadilla. He turned on his heels when we said yes, we did indeed order quesadillas, and we had to order our second Corona to his back as he was storming away. We then had to wait over 20 mins for our change, to the point where I had to go in and get the attention of the host to get our change. I get that people who sit outside are often forgotten but the person next to us’ server was 10x more diligent and they were in, served and out before we were even thought of.
