This review was from two years ago but, I have an update below… Pho-Tastic is a perfect example of what is really good & quality Vietnamese food as a family owned restaurant. It’s a good family and intimate experience located in Johns Creek, GA. The ambiance is perfect for an amazing, fullfling and tasty dinner to share with your loved ones and friends.
The restaurant is well located close to the ATL area and it has an awesome feel of far from the hussle of our cool city.
The food is amazing and their seasoning is on point! Service was very good, super attentive, quick and efficient. The flavors of all the ingredients show the freshness and the intimate selection of the restaurant owners/Family Team.
The food is well priced and at the end of the meal you will feel that it was more than worth it paying the price for the overall experience you had. Definitely a place to visit during any occasion! My wife & I will make a point to continue to share and take all our family & friends every time they visit us here in Atlanta!
Jan. 5, 2024 / Updated review… Pho-Tastic was the perfect example of what is really good & quality Vietnamese food as a family owned restaurant. Seems like the rest. have change of owners, management and employees are like. This changes has caused a high-level consistency of prices, flavor, and most important, service!
I have visited the restaurant three times in the past two months, and every time that I go, then consistency flavor is very noticeable, staff doesn’t know the prices, and if you take your food to go, be ready to be disappointed.
One day they give you some ingredients with your meal, next time you visiting you will not get the same stuff with the same food items. They try to charge for every extra stuff you normally get when you’re in the restaurant. I’m very highly disappointed. Such a fine restaurant has changed in a very noticeable short period of time. Unfortunately, I guess it’s time to look for another...
Read moreThis place used to be my go-to for satisfying my pho cravings, often visiting multiple times a week. However, I've noticed a decline in both the food quality and service over the past few months. Unfortunately, my last three visits have been disappointing. The dishes have been either bland or strangely flavored. Although the servers remain kind and courteous, they consistently fail to get substitutions or additions to dishes right. Moreover, the meat quality has been subpar, with an excessive amount of fat and cartilage rather than actual meat. The pho broth has been either overly sweet or lacking in flavor altogether.
After taking a break for about a month, we decided to give the place another chance, hoping for some improvement. Unfortunately, yesterday's visit confirmed our concerns, and it was our final time eating there. The broth had an unusual, unpleasant sweet taste and emitted a smell reminiscent of old meat, far from the aromatic pho broth one expects. Both bowls of pho contained tough, fatty meat that we couldn't even eat, and the noodles had an artificial, plastic-like taste.
Overall, it's disheartening to see the decline in food quality at this establishment. Considering the prices charged, the below-average experience is simply not worth it. Regrettably, we won't...
Read moreJust went here a couple of days ago, and I had a really good experience!
It had been awhile since I had eaten pho, and this place was new, so I thought I'd give it a try. We got right in, we're greeted friendly and taken to a nice seat in the side room with a good view. They got our drink order started and followed shortly with our food order.
I was on the fence about trying the vermicelli or the bahn mi sandwich, but ultimately decided on the pho. Luckily, my wife decided on the bahn mi that I would have gotten anyway!
We got a couple of their boba milk teas, and they were really tasty. The soup was fresh, and high quality. And I don't think I've ever had a better Vietnamese sandwich. The bread was crisp and light, and the flavors were perfectly blended between the meat and the fresh vegetables. The bread was crisp and light, and the flavors were perfectly blended between the meat and the fresh vegetables.
When we go back the next time, I will definitely try some of the noodle and rice dishes, hoping that they are equally as good as the two dishes we had in our first experience here. If you're in the area, recommend stopping in and checking this place out! You...
