I was visiting from out of town and reached out to Bowman beforehand to ask about stopping in and looking at some rings. Linda emailed me right back with a lot of really helpful information. We exchanged a handful of emails and she was always so responsive and helpful, answering all my questions. She even reached out a couple days prior to my trip to let me know she would not be there, but Kaitlen would be there to work with me. On the day I showed up, Kaitlen greeted me when I walked in the door, had all the information and several options to view. Kaitlen was absolutely wonderful to work with and took the time to show me all the options, answer all my questions, and share her expertise, all with zero pressure. Worst jewelers I've EVER used! They charged me to steal my platinum and ruin my ring. I took my antique platinum & diamond engagement ring to them to have it sized so I wouldn't have to continue to wear a ring guard. They not only made it too small for me, they also removed a lot of the platinum unnecessarily (and kept it btw!). Bowman's Jewelers made the ring's band so thin & warped that it has been uncomfortable to wear ever since. The words and imprints inside the ring were almost entirely removed! My old timey ring--that is very special to me--has been at risk for breaking and being lost since it was sized by Bowman's. It no longer matched my wedding band after they removed all of the precious metal and made the ring's width smaller than the matching wedding band. I have used Bowman’s three times now. I am happy to say they do wonderful work in a timely manner. The first article the did was a customized pair of tear drop emerald earrings in white gold. The second time was a repair/ replacement of a stone in a set of earrings. And the third time was an enlargement of my engagement ring and antique wedding band. I was very nervous over enlarging the antique wedding band since it had so much detail on it. The jeweler is an expert apparently for you can’t even see where the enlargement occurred!!
