if i could give them no star i would. this place should be shut down! the 'care' is horrendous. they absolutely do not care about their patients. i had gone there for several years, seeing Emily George. She is no longer there however i was misdiagnosed, even though i advocated for myself, explaining to her that i believed i was bipolar. she would tell me "dont concentrate on the diagnosis, let's just focus on the symptoms" OK....she prescribed me the incorrect meds for years, making me worse. she is cold and hard to talk to. I had seen Barb once and she told me "your problem is you dont believe in God" WHAT?! I actually reported her to upper management for that. Then i starting seeing another woman - i do not recall her name. She told me "skills, not pills"... and put me on a very low dose/non therapeutic dose of lithium. obviously this made no difference at all. the receptionists were dreadful. not nice and hard to get a hold of. anyways after the 'skills not pills' statement, i left and began going to NULTON DIAGNOSTICS downtown johnstown. WOW what a difference!!!! I highly recommend going there for treatment. i am listened to, correctly diagnosed and receiving proper meds. they care. they are kind. they are...
Read moreHorrid place to go for mental health services. If you have the unfortunate luck of being placed with Tammy Dunn for med management, don’t even bother going to your appt, just find somewhere else. It’s not worth it to have a provider who pushes and pushes you every appt, knowing what triggers you most, and then threatening to medicate you for “anger issues” when you finally stand up for yourself. Or she’ll tell you that you’re “ridiculous” for wanting to opt to be on birth control, or that you should’ve chosen to be homeless instead of having a roommate you occasionally have a disagreement with. Oh and if you try to reach out to ACRP about who to talk to or how to report a provider, they’ll flat out ignore you. Don’t bother with this place, they’ll just leave you worse off than where...
Read moreBy far the worst mental health facility I’ve ever been to. The first time I booked an appointment they were SUPER unprofessional, the WiFi had went out in the building and I had to chat with my doctor on a PHONE, not to mention that THE ONLY MEDICINE PROVIDING DOCTOR IS ALL THE WAY IN PITTSBURGH. Dr Driscoll should NOT be working with autistic people, not because from my bad experience alone, BECAUSE HES UNDER-QUALIFIED AND HAS NO IDEA WHAT HES TALKING ABOUT. I am a professionally diagnosed autistic teenager with MANY mental and physical problems, and I’ve never been more appalled at a mental health nonprofit in my LIFE. Don’t send your loved ones or kids here, unless if you want to get offended, mistreated, and dismissed by the doctors and their lackluster mental...
