DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON if you want a good haircut.

First got there and the stylist i had my appointment with was not there. I showed the stylist the cut i wanted and had but it was grown out. It was an A-line. So she starts cutting my dry not shampooed hair. I asked her if she was cutting it dry and she said yes so she can see how it lies better. After about ten minutes she said she was done. I asked for a mirror. First of all i could tell she had no clue by the was she was and wasn’t cutting. Upon looking in the mirror at the back i was horrified. All i could say about the chopped mess was to get someone else to fix it. She asked what i didn’t like. I said all of it and get someone to fix it. I even asked if shes ever done an A line before and she said yes. Unbelievable. Well i got someone who made it better but certainly didn’t fix it. She over cut and over thinned my hair in back and neither had a clue what they were doing. She even used a flat iron on my hair with old product on my hair. Everyone should know you don’t do this to silver hair because it yellows it and/or turns it green. Now i have to really work at covering the mess in back. Or trying. It’s embarrassing. My only consolation is that hair grows I have not had such a poor haircut in years. May i suggest you don’t pretend to know how to cut hair if you don’t know...

Overall, I experienced unorganized service. I give two stars for the sweet woman working at the boutique and the attentive stylist who cut my son’a hair. The other two stylists did not come close to standard expectation.

Eva didn’t listen to what I actually wanted. She pushed my appointment back (without my consent) because she thought I needed something else done to my hair rather than what I requested. I was shocked because we already had a conversation over the phone agreeing to services and a time.

Stylists are “hair experts” but some customers already know what they want and would simply like to have those services rendered in a professional manner. Furthermore, I was disappointed with the other stylist who claimed to be available. I’m thankful she provided service but she was not focused because she did two other clients’ hair simultaneously. I could have had what I wanted at another salon for $115. Everything seemed thrown together rather than focusing on quality. I expected Jagged Edge to be the best salon but I no longer hold...

I called before arriving and asked if any availabilities were open. They said they would check and I told the woman on the phone that I needed someone who could do a good fade .The woman I got named Lauren attempted it. She cut the top TOO short and my fade was one length to another length without transition leaving a distinct line and said that's all she could do. She said she was not informed before hand I requested a good fade, but when I sat down I showed her a photo of my previous fade and the style of top before she started and she decided to 'try' anyway. Worst cut I've ever received. She continued to tell me after it's done ." We're a salon not a barber" well if you didn't feel comfortable with the skills sets required why would you attempt and botch it? Won't...
