Like all of the Shipley’s donuts I have had the pleasure to enjoy in my days they are all at their very best while hot especially the donut holes OMG. I even had an addiction to the donuts at one time for about a year straight every single day like clock work it was really bad. At that time it was the one on Caraway Rd they were so amazing but that changed after they got new cooks in the back now they taste like they were cooked in old oil that was burned over and over again. Not to mention I never get fresh tasting donuts anymore from there it’s sad so sad. Stadium was the same exact thing as far as being addicted when I moved on that side of town I had relapsed and become addicted again they were good but not as good as the ones previously from caraway rd before they got new cooks the only difference with stadium is their donuts started becoming way too oily it was like eating a big ole mouthful of sweet oily bread HORRIBLE they too had gotten new cooks which caused this change in flavor. Now southwest drive has always been one that I would go to if I was on that side of town and in the mood for donuts they have always been on point with their donuts always good whether they were hot or room temp they always seem to be amazingly perfected every time now I live closer to this one than I did before I’m actually between the caraway rd and southwest drive shipleys I’d rather go to southwest drive because they have never not once failed me in any form their customer service is awesome always and the food is always good and on point (not perfect like shipleys on caraway rd used to be but still better than any donut place in town). However with all of this being said I regret to say I never find them open anymore Ive been there several times during the week days between 6:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M. and they have been closed I do know that before about a month or so ago every time I would go in there around 9:00A.M. they would be almost out of donuts and other food items and when I’d ask if they were cooking anymore they said no and they don’t close until 1:00P.M. so that’s a 4 hour window that they would be open to the pu mic with nothing to sell which I found odd so that may explain why they haven’t been open much lately. I sure hope this is going to get better and they don’t close the doors bc I will definitely not have a donut shop to go to anymore which I will...
Read moreI had a DoorDash order. The receipt was sitting on the counter the entire 20-30 minutes I was there waiting. I waited in li e and when it was my turn, the lady working told me she had to wait on her customers before she could “deal with my DoorDash.” I asked her how long and she shooed me away like an animal. It wasn’t until the customer called the store that a baker from the back came up front and filled my order. She was not going to wait on me until people stopped coming in even though she’d received the order WAY before all “her customers” walked in and were served in front of me. She was very rude. The worst part is that it only took me 3 seconds to pick up the order once the guy from the back came up...
Read moreNice donut and pastry shop on the southwest side of town. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. They have a variety of donut and pastry selections as well as coffee and other drinks. They also make breakfast sandwiches like sausage and biscuits or bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits. They also have kolaches too. This location, like one other one in town, has a drive thru for convenience. Overall, not a bad spot for breakfast but it's location can be a bit tricky getting in and out of...
