HG Greene General Store — Local services in Jonesville

I’ve been going to Greene’s for years at the old location usually buy my boots at Greene’s we went there today and was looking to get 2 pair of danner hiking boots and my wife wanted a carhartt jacket. But when we asked about the coat she said we don’t sale women’s carhartt. Rude but ok so I went to try on boots sit down put on one then get up to try it out the lady who works there tosses my old shoe out of her way and takes my seat. Then when I asked about getting the boots she said I would have to pay upfront and they didn’t like ordering specialty items. We got to the store 5 minutes before they closed and the gentleman at the counter welcomed us right in. I apologized for coming so late and he replied that we were just in time. He asked how he could help and got what I was looking for. I was impressed with the corteousy and promptness of the service. I also appreciated that he didn't tell us he was about to close. I went into this store yesterday morning to shop for a pair of Steel Toe Shoes and as I walked into the door the lady greeted me and asked me if she could help me and right away the lady was there bringing out several pair of shoes until I found the perfect fit for my feet.
