I have a story to tell about Treasure Quest & my experience with them & it turned out to be a very TERRIFIC/WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Long ago, I lost the start up disc for my Nintendo Gameboy player where I could play Gameboy color games on my Nintendo GameCube & without that disc, it was virtually a doorstop. I asked around town if anyone knew of any place that had that super rare disc for the Gameboy player, no one, not even the place called Second Chance (not saying they are bad, but they have a limited selection) knew what I was talking about & just as I was about to give up hope, I came across Treasure Quest on a Google search that specialized in very rare/hard to find things like this & I knew it was a gamble, so I took it & boom, with EXTREME LUCK, they had an entire Gameboy Player set with the disc that was never opened & I asked the lovely lady who works there you can consider that set SOLD if you can hold it for me & I would be right over to get it! The lovely lady pledged to hold onto it for me until I got there & sure enough, Treasure Quest lived up to that pledge & were absolutely amazed at how passionate I was about purchasing that extremely rare set from them & complimented me on getting there as fast as I did like a bolt of lightning 🌩 right to their door 🚪. I wouldn't doubt one bit that I would be remembered as the beyond passionate customer who zoomed to their door & constantly thanked them nearly every 5 minutes for holding onto that Gameboy Player for me & bringing my collection back to life! For that, I will always be grateful to them & the wonderful deal they gave me. Treasure Quest is that one store that absolutely cares about the things they sell & most importantly about their customers. Because of that act of kindness from them in honoring their pledge to me, anytime I overhear someone at a Gamestop or even Second Chance when they come in looking for a very rare hard to find gaming console or even a game, I ALWAYS RECOMMEND they head to Treasure Quest! That is my story folks, I was not treated poorly, the place was not murky or anything of the sort as the hecklers on here have stated, they are absolutely full of guava! Take it from me folks, if your a die hard gamer that is beyond passionate for video games, especially the oldies, Treasure Quest is definitely the place to go! Their gems 💎 of the past that are extremely rare would make King Henry jealous with envy! Thank you Treasure Quest, I will always be indebted to you for the wonderful deal that brought my Gameboy Player back to life! We will be doing business...
Read moreI was there on I believe a Monday. I can't remember if it was during the beginning of the pandemic or before it started but that place was great. I bought the original Mario Bros for a good price and able to use my card on the small purchase which is rare in many 2nd hand places. Everyone was friendly. I need SMB3 and Dr Mario and would love to see if they're available there. Unfortunately I work Saturdays but it's definitely a goal to get down there. If they ever do online sales I'm down but honestly that place is too cool to not go in. There is just so much to see. If I wasn't on my way to work that day I would've looked...
Read moreFor real collectors, there are interesting things here. Unfortunately the hours are strange and the prices are WAY too high. Even so, this is a local business that would be cool to support as the owner once told me he would like to make an arcade. Imagine having Kazoo Books and a vintage game store and arcade right in one area. Id love it if the owner got motivated in cleaning up the store, more fair with the pricing, and better hours. If he has a dream Im sure there are enough retro heads in Kalamazoo that would love to support a space like this. Its just the main thing is that its too expensive and has...
