When I talked with Apple Care (official apple techs), they were professional and generally pleasant to work with. They directed me to an Apple store in a near by town (Missoula, MT) where I could have actual Apple techs inspect my issues. I found Allied Computing and saw that they were Apple certified and could fix my problem. I brought them my stuff (a mouse and a keyboard) and they told me they would contact me later that day. After over 2 weeks going by, I gave them a call and asked what the status was with my stuff and when or if I was going to get it soon. I was told I would get a call back within the hour. I never received a call that day. I called and got the answering machine so I left a message. Finally I received a call back from a very rude, mean tech at Allied Computing not only telling me the bad news that Apple care doesn't cover either the mouse or keyboard, but he accused me of beating my mouse and keyboard. He used a loud, accusing voice treating me like a child in trouble. "There... Are... Dents... On... The.. Mouse... Like... Someone... Beat it... On the desk!!". This was the first thing out of his mouth toward me after saying that Apple care isn't going to cover it when I questioned why it's not covered. Wow. So not only was I getting bad news that my stuff isn't covered by Apple Care, I also have this mean tech guy (who is one of the owners) accusing me with a raised voice of beating my equipment. That would make anyone upset. When I tried to let him know that I didn't beat on my mouse he got really mad and repeated again now yelling it over the top of me as I was talking. Naturally, I got really upset because I was now cut off from talking to have this guy yelling at me an accusation towards me. I told him I didn't appreciate him treating me like a child and he continued to yell at me then hung up. I called back to tell him I was getting my stuff back (me now with a firm tone) and again stating that it's uncalled for him to treat his customers that way. He hung up on me again. I was hung up on by him 3 times and once by a lady that works there (also an owner) accusing me now of being rude to them for telling him that he was rude. Ok, I could go on all day about this. I finally talked to him and told him that I wasn't mad that my stuff isn't covered by Apple Care, I was mad that I was treated the way they treated me. He didn't get it, he never will. Very bad experience at Allied Computing. I would not recommend them to anyone. Not that they can't fix stuff, but I don't trust them and they are mean...

I purchased a Macbook Pro 2017 computer this week. Last night, I noticed that bubbles had formed on the screen. Horrified, I contacted Apple Support. They connected me with Allied Computing as they are certified by Apple. I walked in around 10:00 and was greeted by Devonna. I showed her my laptop, explaining my issues. Instantly, she explained that there was simply a screen protector on my screen, causing the bubbling. She called for Calvin who peeled the screen protector away and restored my hope in Mac products.
The fact that I was helped so quickly was lovely. But even more than that, they spend time giving me advice about how to protect my computer and which products they recommend and potential products to avoid. Later, Calvin even gave me an extension for my charger. Total cost to me?...
Read moreThey replaced a screen on my iPhone 14, seemed like it went well and worked as normal. Two months later I put a screen protector on it, and water got inside the phone. The screen was not secured properly, leaving a gap for water to get in. Allied refused to take any responsibility and wanted to charge me $550 to fix it. Very adamant that the phone is not held together with glue: "it's high bond adhesive!" The phone gave a boot error for a day, then it turned back on. I just wanted it resealed so it wouldn't happen again. Poor communication, even worse service. Edit: I simply asked how the phone was held together and he went off on a rant about "it's not glue it's high bond adhesive... like the gaskets in your car." I really don't care, all I know is my phone was not repaired properly, which is what I paid for and why I went to an "Apple certified" repair center. Very disappointing that you refuse to stand behind your work. I didn't want a new phone, I just wanted the repair...
