Sherman Lodge — Hotel in Kalispell

We were very impressed by Sherman Lodge and had a wonderful stay after our trip to Glacier National Park. The operator has an exceptional sense of taste and style, whether it’s the décor, color combinations, or decorative pieces, everything reflects thoughtful design and artistic sensibility. On the wall by the entrance, there is clear and detailed information about check-in, check-out, and house rules, which is very convenient to reference anytime. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the common kitchen/lounge area was a nice bonus. I was pleasantly surprised by the bathroom fan, which can be set to run for a chosen time and then automatically switch off—so helpful after a night shower, as you don’t need to get up again or be disturbed by noise while trying to sleep. Very cool concept that's somewhat a combination of a hotel and an AirBnB. Has an outdoor area balcony overlooking the city and a common area with a full kitchen, wine fridge, and every appliance you would need. The room was very clean with modern appliances and bath fixtures. The thing I liked the best was the fact that the whole building and the room were well lit, as it seems that hotels lately get dimmer and dimmer. It was nice having the code access entry and no checkin process as well. I will say that parking in the area is confusing as the town has some baffling parking regulations and there is no dedicated parking for the lodge itself. Also, there can be quite a bit of road noise on occasion as it is in the downtown area, but they do provide a white noise generator in the room if you need it. I had a great experience at The Sherman Lodge. Here are a few reasons why I loved it and will be back. -Convenience: The lodge is owned by the same folks who own the connected fly shop (True Water). We took some guided trips with the Fly Shop and staying at the lodge made planning the trip very easy. -Location: in the heart of downtown and walking distance to breweries and restaurants. Downtown Kallispell has a lot of character. -Quality Amenities: I travel a lot for work and pleasure and rarely have had a nicer room.
