Is it a job requirement to be high as a kite during your shift to work here? I get it, it’s legal now but so is alcohol but you can’t drink on the job…. I have gone to this location a couple time because it’s close to my house and thought maybe my bad experience was a one off. But I am now convinced it’s just that garbage of a location and I will just drive to liberty for now on. Every time I have gone, the ENTIRE staff is high out of their mind, have to repeat even the simplest order multiple times. Takes FOREVER to get your food and you have to remind them of what you ordered when you get to the window. We sat at the drive through for what seemed like forever. We questioned if they were even open and was about ready to drive away before someone came over the mic to take our order. That was like talking to a 2 year old. Waited 15 minutes at the window for them to get the whole order wrong. Pulled around and went inside to have it fixed and INSTANTLY got a contact high. They had to be smoking inside it was that bad. 2 of them saw me, chose to ignore me for a five minutes before I had to say something to get them to acknowledge me. Told them this wasn’t our order, he had a “really you’re going to make me work and remake all your food, you can’t just eat what you got?” It was a large order that I paid for so no I want what I ordered. I waited for ANOTHER 15 minutes for them to fix it. The food was stale, the bag stunk of weed and was just horrible. Literally everytime is a chore and it’s annoying dealing with kids that are so high they can’t function and getting stale food that smells like weed as well. I don’t know how Taco Bell allows this stuff to...
Read moreToday, as with just about every day the past few months I walked into aTaco bell. As is often the case I was the only soul in the establishment not paid to be there. I sat at a back corner table and was on the phone trying to resolve some issues with my bank bc my debit card had been frozen due to suspuscious activity online so I could order something to eat. Within maybe10 minutes of sitting down a team member approached me and informed me I had to order or leave. I began to explain that's what I was attempting to accomplish on the phone with my bank but was cut off and told not their problem..if I couldn't payat the time I needed to leaave until I could? I am not exaggerating when I say I eat at one off our local taco bells nearly everyday and canprovide u receipts to back that up. I am a domestic violence survivor, currently living inmy car just to have the ability to get out. I own 2 houses and a business but it's not safe for me to be in f those situations so I spend my days in restaurants and parks talking to Google assistant sometimes just to have conversation. To say the past few months have been tough is an understatement. However, until today, when manager Gail at Taco Bellon 430 barry rd tossed me from Tesco bell, I honestly hadn't felt all alone or doubted my decisions to choose to struggle rather than have everything easy but at the cost of my pen personal safety and well being. I was hurting no one as there was no one else there patronizing. I was dressed appropriately never asked anyone else for money or food, so why was I forced to leave before I could clear up my bank situation? Humility is a lesson most people missed...
Read moreLast week I wanted to be breakfast and it was still 10:30 when I left to get the food. The first taco I went to stopped serving their breakfast early as it only takes me about 5-8 minutes max to get there. So, I called the closest store from there just to confirm they still serve breakfast till 11:00 so I didn't waste my time. The person who answered the phone said yes and I was already on my way to that location. In the 2-3 minutes it took to get to that taco Bell I pulled up and tried to order breakfast and they said they weren't serving it now which was a little over 10 minutes till 11:00.
I think it's a little ridiculous to have been told 2-3 minutes earlier that I could order till 11:00 to show up and not be able to. If you serve something till a certain time and you even tell someone you do then you probably should stick to that time.
Granted I was waiting till "the last minute" to get their breakfast, but that was why I called ahead of time. I'm surprised at both taco bells for ending their breakfast earlier than posted/confirmed times. I used to work in the fast food industry and the main reason to stop serving something early was just pure laziness in not wanting to serve certain things anymore, in this case breakfast.
I'm probably not going to go back for breakfast unless it's like 8:00 am to make sure I am well within the timeframe...
