Over the last 2 days it’s been a whirlwind trying to get my elf on a shelf delivered by the time my step-son gets here for Christmas. I ordered yesterday and it got delivered promptly for same day delivery...Great. Only to find out the book was missing out of the package describing the elf. I called the store and they said I could come pick it up myself even after I paid the extra money for same day delivery “side note” the store I ordered from was a good 45 minutes from where I live...not going to work. Then they said I could call corporate and they could give me a label to ship it back and then they would ship me another one. Again not going to work I needed it by today. Spoke to Corporate they got the ball rolling and set it up for it to be delivered to me yesterday at work although they never called me back or email sent as promised. Well no one made it to my work on time. I talked to the store again and they said they would hold it until today. So I get to work today and there was a mysterious package delivered from Michaels but not in my name or what I ordered so I went ahead and called the store to make sure we were on the same track to get it delivered today. Spoke to The manager Brittany at this point she was offering great help to all of this mess. She said it was ready for delivery and we would touch base later in the day to confirm it had been picked up. I called her at said time and it still hadn’t been picked up. So she called this roadies.com they were using to help deliver the package and they said they had already delivered the package last night....not true it was something from Nike and not for me. So then now they have to come pick this package back up and still deliver me the correct package. I tell them the time of when and where I would be at work or home. Got a call back it would be delivered 30 minutes before I left for work. Then I get a text from this roadies.com delivery company delivering to my home address which I would not be home in time. Luckily there was someone home to get the package. Which eventually got delivered to my home. then the poor manger of the store Brittany had to come get the wrongly delivered package by this roadies.com company from my job to return to this delivery company. It was a complete and utter mess. Shout of to Brittany for going above and beyond to helping me resolve this mess. I appreciate you getting this little boy his #1 thing he wanted...
Read moreThe store was clean and had a great selection. There was no one at the cutting station so I had to ring the bell but a sales associate came pretty quickly. However, the price she told me for the fabric was different than the one listed on the shelf. She did correct it when I showed her. Also, I was there before closing and a full 15 minutes before they closed, the turned most of the lights off in the store. I thought that was pretty rude. It’s one thing to make an announcement that you will be closing and to take your purchases to the front. It’s another thing to make it so dark that you can’t really see the merchandise in the store. It seemed to me that the girls working there wanted tot be gone by 9:00 instead of closing the store at 9:00. Also, last week I ordered some fabric from the Lees Summit location for pickup. I picked up the order on the day I ordered it and I continued to get notifications for almost a whole week that my order was ready for pickup. Read moreI placed an order for same day delivery at 10am. My order was accepted, My card was charged and I was told my order would be here at 1:17pm (Perfect). I didn’t receive shutting at 1pm so I figured I would wait a little longer. My order was a necessity I need for my small business so I was on a time frame for my customers order. At 3pm I received a text saying “Your order was canceled” ….. no explanation, no offer for a refund or anything. Just simply “Your order was cancelled”. No one answered the phone when I called to see what was going on so I had to search and search for customer care number that could help with my specific situation. Then the guy on the phone told me it’s my fault for not searching for their policy and reading that even if the order is accepted and my card is charged, It doesn’t really mean that my order is accepted. He kept talking over me saying “It’s on the website, It’s on the website” .
