I have not seen the physician, this review is of the staff scheduling appointments. I called the office this morning and was offered an opening in the afternoon that was available because a patient cancelled. I asked the staff person (11:45) if they could hold the appointment for 10 minutes while I attempted to reorganized my schedule for the afternoon and she said "Sure!". I called back before noon and they confirmed the afternoon appointment. A few minutes later my phone rang and another staff person had told me the appointment had been given to another patient - despite having told me they would hold the appointment for me. While apologetic, the staff person did nothing to try and reschedule or rectify the inconvenience. I've only gone to one appt. with Dr. Russell. Prepare yourself for a couple of hours of questions including the question of your health priorities. Dr. Russell and the staff were nice and inquisitive. The only strange part of the visit was the lack of an exam by the doctor. She never listened to my heart or lungs, never looked at my eyes, ears or throat. While I didn't have any complaints about any of those, I do expect a doctor to do a thorough examination and that was not the case here. Perhaps a COVID issue wanting to maintain a six foot separation? I could have an irregular heart beat for all that I know. I starting seeing Dr. Russel and Emily Day, NP last year and in a short time I feel better than I have in years. I have more energy and mental focus.

My first appointment was 90 minutes. Very thorough. That kind of time and attention helped diagnose my health issues and get me on track with lifestyle changes, supplements and guidance. They follow up with new labs to check that my not only non-deficient in vitamins and minerals but optimal.
