Five Guys certainly delivers on the promise of a hearty, customizable burger. The patties are juicy and flavorful, cooked to order with a wide array of toppings that cater to diverse tastes. The quality of the ingredients is undeniable, and the option to pile on everything from grilled onions to jalapenos is a definite plus. However, the experience is significantly marred by the exorbitant prices. While the burgers are undeniably good, the cost is simply unreasonable for what amounts to a fast-food meal. Even the generous portion of fries, often overflowing from the cup into the bag, fails to justify the overall expense. The sheer volume of fries, while initially impressive, can become overwhelming and frankly, a bit wasteful. The atmosphere is decidedly casual, bordering on utilitarian, with the open kitchen and sacks of potatoes on display. This isn't a place for a leisurely dining experience. It's about getting a quick, albeit expensive, burger and leav ing. The service is efficient, but not particularly warm. In summary, Five Guys offers a tasty burger, but the price tag feels disproportionately high, making it a less appealing option for budget-conscious diners. It's a decent burger, but not a...
Read moreA very poor example of how to run a business and make food. I made my order and sat back and waited and watched and saw a level of inefficiency and lack of caring that I have never seen before. None of the staff talked to each other except for the cashier telling the cook how many patties to make. The guy making up the buns and assembling the burgers looked like he was completely out of it and needed sleep . I started to pay attention when I saw him leaning over and staring at the assembled burger for over a minute and I started to count customers waiting and the orders up. My burger sat on the counter for over five minutes and the guy did NOTHING but stand at the table and do nothing. The were two loads of fries that were dumped and so he wasnt waiting on fries. When my burger and fries were bagged he put them on the outside counter and said a number. Thank god the door dash girl was also waiting and said my number loudly to the people waiting or I would have never known my order was ready. I was in a hurry and even more in a hurry due to the wait or else I would have taken my COLD BURGER AND FRIES back. I have been to several 5 guys but have never seen a situation...
Read moreDoesn't matter how nice a person is, I want good food and good service for my money. Smile a lot, fine, but that doesn't make me change my opinion of what I paid for. Don't get the tomatoes, they are completely white they are so unripe. Pickles are real hamburger dill chips, not the silly garlic dills places are beginning to use. Fries are extremely limp.. extremely undercooked. Very very very very very undercooked limp french fries. If you like your french fries soft and limp, these are definitely for you, they will always be soft and limp. Trust me. Always. One guy there keeps saying they get limp because WE are doing the wrong thing by closing the tops of our paper bags, but they are limp, very very limp, within a minute of leaving the fry station, I know, because I've eaten them there, too, not just taken home. The ground beef, unlike another person's post, is definitely NOT made out of "juicy steaks" they just taste like it; the meat is definitely good quality. Forget the horrible fries, and get those burgers. Without the almost always unripe tomatoes,...
