Target — Local services in Kansas City

I went to Target with my bike, just to buy a helmet and a security chain — and I was told I couldn’t bring it inside or even park it somewhere safe indoors. I understand rules, but as someone who lives nearby, shops here often, and was simply trying to protect something valuable to me, it felt really discouraging. I didn’t want to leave my bike outside where it could be stolen. It’s sad to realize that there’s little empathy or support for customers who move through the world in a different way — more sustainably, more vulnerably. I wasn’t asking for much, just a few minutes and a bit of understanding. My family much prefers Target to the more popular, money-grubbing counterpart. Our biggest disappointment in this store is that it is not a super Target with the full grocery section so that we wouldn't have to visit the store around the corner. To be honest, the only fault we can really find in this location is the way in which the store handles re-stocking shelves on truck days, often taking over whole aisles with freight boxes and making them difficult to maneuver. Compared to other Targets in the area, this one is the best! The employees are always helpful and the managers are quick to open up more registers when it becomes congested...
