I really like the sandwiches but the staff need to take a class in customer service! On Father's Day we had lunch there. The gentleman taking orders was very friendly and efficient. We received are lunch and my sandwich was incorrect. I ordered a ham sandwich with mayo only. What I received was a ham sandwich with everything. This was upsetting because I know the gentleman taking the orders ordered it correctly. I decided to just eat the food but made the choice to let him know that it was incorrect and that some other patron maybe receiving my sandwich and that I just wanted him to be aware of this. He was very apologetic and gave me two coupons for future orders. The next time I ordered the food was via phone. The food was exactly like before but this time I had sandwiches with cheese. When my husband got home I realized this and called immediately. I was told by a woman whom I believe was supervisormanager, that for future reference to order the food stating NO CHZ. I understood and she took my name and number and informed me for the next sandwich would be free and just let them know when i ordered next time. Today I called to place an order and told the woman I had two free sandwiches and she stated she could not find my info anywhere documented. First off when I informed her of the free sandwiches she got all huffy and made me feel like I was completely wasting her time. Secondly, she told me u needed to calm down when I was plainly stating the circumstances and situation. After being put on hold several times and requesting to speak with the manager and or supervisor in charge, she came back and said, was this for two ham sandwiches. I said yes and she proceeded to take my order again in a very rude wasting her time manner and additionally talking to someone else during the process. She assumed this was all I wanted and was starting to finish the call when I said I have two more sandwiches to order. Her demeanor changed but was still rushing. Repeating herself and really not listening to me the customer. After everything she apologized and told me that apparently there was another log book that she wasn't told about that had my name in it for the free sandwiches. In conclusion, if I acted this way at my job I would be fired. There is no excuse for huffing and puffing to a customer. I certainly don't want anybody to be fired but this gal needs some serious customer service education. Totally fine I understand being in a relationship with someone you work with but showing PDA while customers are in store may be a little to much. Also Autumn does the least amount of work as any of those employees in there. She is a problem. I spend plenty of money there and everytime she’s had to make my sandwich there was hair or something messed up on my sand which. Anytime another worker makes my sandwich my sandwich comes out in a timely manner and doesn’t have hair or something wrong on it. Also like I’ve said I have friends who have worked for this fire house and when I’ve had to pick them up I’ve seen this employee go use the restroom and come back out and the entire bathroom smell like cigarettes after she comes back out because it reaks into the store and when my friends who do not smoke cigarettes come out smelling like straight sandwich’s and cigarettes I can only put two and two together after watching her walk out of the bathroom. Also she does not only do it after hours but I’ve been inside the store buying a sandwich when she walked out of a smoke filled bathroom and the smell of cigarettes overwhelmed the sandwiches being made. I’m not sure how many other people were in there but the ones I saw got there food and left immediately. I’ve seen her walk off the line during busy hours. I’ve seen her treat other workers with the upmost disrespect. I do not want to be helped by her so I ask others to help and I ask that others make my sandwich. I will continue to give business but that employee needs to be reprimanded in some way. From my stand point as someone who has to run their own employees and workers I would never want her running anything and she says that she is a manager? Read moreAll we've heard is that Firehouse Subs are the best subs ever! A favorite to a few of our friends. So we decided to try them for the first time. I ordered the steak hot specialty large sandwich. We picked it up 3 minutes after it was ready. We only live less than 5 minutes away. It was barely warm and it took me awhile to find the sauted onions that came with it and maybe saw one mushroom that I paid $.75 extra to add on. It had way too much mayo (and I love mayo). It was mushy on the bottom. I had to actually open the bun up to see the inside of very little chopped up meat, cheese, onion, no peppers, and one or two mushrooms swimming in a sauce of mayo or whatever. I immediately called and said they didn't put mushrooms on it or other veggies. She just said I could ask for it when I come back the next time and they would happy to put it on for me. Yeah right! So anyone can just walk in and complain that their last order wasn't correct and they will just make their new order the way they want it with no additional cost?! Sure!
