Yum Tea — Restaurant in Kansas City

I guess I didn’t have the same experience as most people here. I was greeted when I walked in, and then immediately dismissed. I didn’t know how to order, as there was a kiosk to order but I wanted to pay cash. Some restaurants I’ve been to do kiosk only, so that’s what I assumed. As I was paying with my card at the kiosk two regulars walked in and walked up to the lady working who immediately started chatting them up. They placed their order but I made sure to pay and get my order placed before them so I could hurry out (had a busy 1 year old in my hands). They still got their drinks before me. A girl hurriedly left my drink on the counter and zoomed off. I grabbed it and left. Not a good experience with the customer service. The tea was decent. It was just boba tea. Otherwise...

Found this place by accident while doing some shopping and needed a quick refresher and can say I am absolutely IN LOVE!! Ive tried many boba places in the KC area and this is going right to the top of the list. I got the brown sugar boba milk tea, the flavor was fantastic and the boba pearls are so tender and sweet. Staff was also super friendly, funny, and had no problem answering other customers questions about the drinks. They even gave out some samples for customers who were curious about certain flavors! Definitely going to have to come back and try everything else...

Absolutely love this place! It’s super cute and bright on the inside! The woman who helped me at the counter (I believe her name is Ada) was extremely patient and helpful! I had never been to Yum Tea and wasn’t sure what to get, but Ada gave great recommendations!
