It's called honesty; that's how things improve... Cons: Customer service is the biggest negative here. It’s especially important in this close and constant environment. The bad apples often ruin the bunch. The young ladies are welcoming and usually say hello if not busy. A few of the young men are also but more reserved. There is one that is especially well suited; a very young guy who is unassuming and friendly and helpful. I had a band aid partially covering my finger tip and the scan didn’t take so he looked at his screen verified my entry code and said I got you. Then he reminded me that I could use my other hand if I needed to. I had forgotten both were done when I joined my first club. He had great manner and ease. So refreshing and simple! These other kids act like they need to police the entry and that they are doing you a favor if they acknowledge you otherwise. It’s more common than not. All members know they need to sign in. What person in their right mind would try to sneak in here enough times to do any good for their physique? Perhaps non-members want to sneak a dip in the little non-functional waist deep pool outside or snag 1 of only 3 lap lanes available inside? LOL As in all locations there is a huge entry counter that blockades the front with check-in clerks present. Today, I went in the pouring rain before peak hours with few attendees. When I was done I left but forgot my umbrella in the locker room. I rushed right back in to get it and some frail looking guy stepped up and said, “Did you sign in?” I looked at him like, as if and nodded my head yes. He said okay. That was tolerable but when I came right back out he was running his mouth complete with antics like an ape beating its chest. Poor thing didn’t realize I’d be right out again. I don’t think he is even a desk clerk. There were several of them standing outside the counter. Maybe he’s a weight loss trainer waiting to rush the dinner crowd? Anyway, nothing about my manner or build is or was ape like LOL. He clearly wasn’t paying attention to the small number of us there already but he just walked up and thought he’d be involved and irritating. This is just the latest incident. There have been many others with me and people around me and I’ve only been at this location 1 month. I attend several times a week. Some of them think they can be commanding as they instruct you. I mean really? Please kid. Neither is needed or a good idea. Sooner or later they are going to catch me on a bad day and I’m going to instruct whomever how to grow up a bit or I will do it for someone else that I see them needlessly irritating. Members don’t appreciate insecure kids or adult infants acting out their issues. Especially we adults, who are long their senior in every way, are annoyed by their ignorant presumptions and the audacious liberties they take. Have the bright and genuine young man and a couple of the good gals retrain them if they have the capacity to adapt actual customer service skills. If they can’t be genuine in that maybe they can go for professional. Pros: Friendly manager- Mark did my renewal at this location and was straight forward, helpful, quick and easy. This place is kept cleaner than any location I have ever seen. There is a great mixed crowd to work out along side of. The equipment is kept in good order and it is new. Of course the good eggs at the desk that already get the basics with ease give you hope that you won’t have to tolerate one of the asinine needy...
Read moreI went in with my wife the other day on Saturday really late at night, around little past midnight and the front desk girl was so extremely rude to both of and refused to let us in. she kept saying we didn’t pay the membership on time, when we did payed it the night before because we were out of town and we didn’t realize the card was locked so once we came back we paid immediately to avoid any problem when we went in. And when we came in she refused to let us in even though we showed her the bank statement and on my end it said we didn’t have any remaining balance on the account, and not to mention my bank approved it, it wasn’t even pending or anything. She refused to listen to us and continued rolling her eyes with attitude and talking to us so rude and trying to be little us by saying low remarks even went on and said “you have issues, if you can’t pay a simple bill on time you have to get your priorities straight”. she also kept demanding on us to pay it twice even though our bank already confirmed the first pay if we wanted to come in. i dont know what kind of people this place is hiring for a front desk girl to saying that to complete strangers who have been a paying member for so long…that has always pay their gym bill. She kept saying a lot of other insulting remarks as well and didn’t want to hear us out. She also kept telling us to go back home because she wasn’t going to let us in, mind you we live so far and she already wasted so much of our time with back and forth. I used to love this gym so much that we drive 30min from our house but now after this I’m really rethinking it and most likely about changing after this horrible experience. I’ve never had any problems before, she was really unprofessional and really rude, it didn’t seem like she has any experience In any kind of Customer service whatsoever. Read moreThis is the best 24 Hour Fitness club that I have ever been to. Stephen is an awesome manager. The Group X classes are PHENOMENAL! I love the full class load KBT offers. I was able to do back to back classes with Les Mills BODYPUMP and BodyCombat 5 times a week. I started incorporating BODYATTACK into my fitness regiment allowing me to do Les Mills Trifecta. The results I gained are mind blowing!
I love the instructors at KBT for all the passion and enthusiasm they shared with me. They are truly amazing and motivating in helping me push beyond my limits!! I am extremely impressed by the top quality variety of classes KBT offers. I was able to transform my body in ways I never imagined! Denise and Reisha are energetic and enthusiastic in helping me realize my potential and pushing me past my limits. Courtney and Kimberly are awesome in teaching BODYATTACK. I have never taken that format before but I saw the benefits of the class. Carmen is EXTRAORDINARY in challenging me to reach new heights that I never thought possible! TaShane is superb in having me accomplish Les Mills Trifecta (Sprint, BODYPUMP and BodyCombat). Freída is unbelievable in motivating and inspiring me to give it my all!! She kept me on target with correct form and technique. Nichola is unmatchable in the way she continuously impacts my love for Les Mills BODYPUMP and BodyCombat.
