Terrible service by JT; never checked on by management who kept their heads up and eyes straight ahead while walking through the dining area. Understandably busy for UFC fight. We did not expect super fast service, especially after waiting a while for anyone to seat us (several servers made eye contact and kept walking, not even a quick “someone will be right with you”). Women’s restroom was not cleaned the entire duration of our time.
JT started strong: had our drink orders quickly, checked IDs, got our appetizer ordered and brought silverware and napkins prior to food coming out. Then she realized we were there to watch the fight (we were there from 7:30pm-12:30am) and service started going downhill. I ordered a drink at the same time as my food, along with my buddy. His beer was delivered 10 minutes after ordering, but JT wandered off too quickly before I could ask where mine was; the foam had completely dissolved on the beer before arriving to the table for my buddy. I ordered the drink again five minutes later when my other buddy ordered another beer and I asked her to put in the order for the mixer I ordered. Food arrives and still no drink. Ended up only having three beverages, due to being empty most of the night. Food was good; fries sucked but what’s new at Bdubs? Thin cut fries cool very quickly and I appeared to have many smaller pieces... possibly end of the bag.
Ordered more wings, asked for ten, only received six (sticker on the wax paper said six). Buddy asked JT “didn’t I order ten?” who proceeded to say “Oh, I heard six. Did you want ten?” At this point, he had almost finished the wings and did not want to both waiting for four wings. Buddy had to ask for napkins twice; once when receiving the wings and once after he finished the wings. JT made a comment that I think was meant to be funny but sounded snarky in regard to there being wet napkins on the table.
We get the bill. We were, of course, charged for the ten wings instead of the six. I had to flag down a different server to grab JT after waiting ten minutes for her post-dropping off the checks. JT never asked how we wanted to split the checks, so I let her know about the wing issue and the very strange (and annoying) way we had to split our check... I literally said word-for-word (I say this often) “food all on one check, then everyone will pay for their drinks separately. I’ll pay for mine, he’ll pay for his, and he’ll pay for his. A total of four checks pretty please.” Get the revised checks with the corrected wings... Checks STILL wrong after VERY clear directions. Server said “y’all got lucky... I somehow gave the first set of ten wings free.” What in the world?!?
Very frustrated at the numerous simple mistakes without apology. HATED being called “babe” and “mama” by JT (female server, I’m female, so not a huge issue I just HATE pet names by strangers). Can’t believe on such a busy night managers weren’t table tapping, where there were clearly numerous. Tables around us had to gain the attention of managers to ask for soda refills because JT wasn’t serving them well either.
Personally tipped our server 20% of the three drinks I ordered (could have been more if I didn’t go empty for way-too-long periods of time) due to us taking up an entire booth for five hours.
Originally was going to be a one star... but JT did start off strong and food wasn’t bad. Could have been less of an issue if management would have checked on their patrons; should consider patrons “guests” and not “customers.” Either way, terrible guest/customer...

Date of Visit: Thursday, June 6, 2024 Time of Visit: 7:45 PM Location: 5520 W Grand Pkwy S, Richmond TX 77406
On a recent Thursday evening (6/6/2024), my girlfriend and I decided to enjoy a meal at Buffalo Wild Wings. Our experience, however, turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining encounters we've ever had.
We arrived at the restaurant at 7:45 PM and opted to sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and promptly took our order, bringing us our beverages shortly after. This initial interaction gave us hope for a pleasant evening, but unfortunately, things went downhill from there.
After placing our order for Chicken Nachos and an All-American Burger meal, we waited for over an hour for our food. Despite the bar being moderately busy, we noticed that several other patrons who arrived after us received their meals well before we did. After waiting patiently for 45 minutes, we inquired about our order and were assured it was on the way. Another 15 minutes passed, and we asked again, only to receive the same vague reassurance.
When our food finally arrived after more than an hour, we were dismayed to find that both the Chicken Nachos and the All-American Burger were not just lukewarm but outright cold. This was not a slight temperature issue; the food was genuinely cold, suggesting it had been sitting out for a considerable time before being served to us.
As someone who works in the food industry and understands the operations of a kitchen, I find this completely unacceptable. In any reputable establishment, if an order is delayed and then discovered to be subpar, the kitchen should immediately remake the dishes. The fact that our food was served in such a poor condition reflects a severe lack of integrity and attention to quality control.
Disturbed by our experience, I requested to speak with the manager. He arrived around 8:50 PM to 8:55 PM, without introducing himself or greeting us. Instead, he simply stood there, staring at us, forcing me to ask if he was indeed the manager. His curt response was, "Yes."
I explained our situation, detailing the extensive wait and the unacceptable state of our food. I mentioned that given our experience, we did not wish to eat the food and questioned whether we should have to pay for the beverages given the significant time wasted. His response was shockingly dismissive. He bluntly stated, "You are going to pay for the beverages though, they weren't cold," and walked away after saying, "Matter of fact, don't come here again."
This was, without a doubt, the rudest and most unprofessional interaction I have ever had in a dining establishment. There was no apology, no attempt to rectify the situation, and no basic customer service courtesy. As someone who works in the restaurant industry and understands the importance of treating every guest with respect and care, I was appalled by this experience.
To anyone considering a visit to this Buffalo Wild Wings location, I strongly advise caution. The combination of poor service, unacceptable food quality, and unprofessional management creates an environment that does not respect or value its customers.
Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, and part of that is being treated with basic respect and courtesy. My girlfriend and I were deeply disappointed and disgusted by the treatment we received. We sincerely hope that this review will serve as a caution to others and prompt this establishment to reconsider how they handle customer service and...
Read moreParty of 8 of us came in for lunch on Tuesday 12/27. 3 of us arrived first and told the server who greeted us, Jacob, that it would be 8. He responded with “let me guess, it’s going to be 8 separate checks”. Even if we were going to be 8 separate checks, which we weren’t, not the best way anyone wants to be welcomed into a restaurant. There were only 2 or 3 tables when we got there, so the restaurant wasn’t exactly busy. Jacob had a horrible attitude the entire time. Didn’t smile once. His service was extremely slow. Two people in our party ordered cheese curds as appetizers. They never got them as appetizers, but instead as sides which Jacob didn’t clarify with the guests in our party that their meals would be coming with cheese curds instead of fries. Two people in our party ordered beers and after about 20 minutes, another girl comes by and asked what drinks we needed. We told her and then a few minutes later, I assume it was the bartender who came by and asked what drinks we were waiting on. She brought them to us soon after. When our food arrived, one of the entrees came out wrong and had to be sent back. Two people in our party did not get their food. About halfway through our meal, they were finally able to catch Jacob’s attention and asked where their food was. He left to check and then came back and asked what they had. He took their orders first out of the whole party and had written it down, but never put it in. When their food did come out, we were all done, and one of the members had asked for fries with her meal but instead got cheese curds. He never once apologized, never checked on us, a manager never stopped by, and overall he was very rude and standoffish with our party. Another party next to us which was a party of 6 or 7 sat down after us and paid out and left before we even got our checks, which we waited for about half an hour to get our checks after we were done. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or if it was because we were a large party, but his service and attitude were extremely inexcusable for the service industry. We all agreed, the worst service...
