Idk how this place get a 5 stars cuz If I could give this place a zero star I would bc I get to have Free life lesson: never cheat on your real barber and if ur not in ur mid life crisis please don’t come get haircuts here…. Trust me ur gf, finance, wife wtv is it will leave u after I paid $38 to get humbled in the worst way possible and now my scalp and my self-esteem are both recovering at the same snail speed. Came in asking for a clean low drop fade my fade didn’t drop only my face drop instead — left looking like my head lost a bar fight with a weed whacker. This dude had the unmatched audacity to stop mid-hack job, switch blades like he was about to perform a miracle, and then brag about his ‘top-tier equipment’ that sounded like a tractor on its last leg. Then — as if my dignity wasn’t already on life support — he asked me who my real barber is because my hair was ‘so evenly cut, so rare to find.’ Sir, that evenly cut hair was the last thing keeping me together — you didn’t just cut it, you assassinated it. Talking about how I would love my haircut like dude please I wanna crawl in a hole and cry And he was so confident I’d abandon my actual barber for him. I’d rather let my hair grow out in the witness protection program than let those haunted clippers near me again. So now I’m $38 lighter, emotionally bald, and explaining to everyone why I’m suddenly a hat person — indoors, outdoors, asleep, awake, you name it. I’ve been coming here consistently every single week, Friday or Saturday, and every time I leave looking clean, sharp, and refreshed, no compromises.

AD Barbershop is open later than any other shop in Katy, 7 days a week, and always puts clients first. One text is all it takes, no excuses, no “tomorrow” or “next week,” no waiting around. Even if he’s running late or has plans, he makes time, because he genuinely works hard and values his customers/business.

He’s fairly priced, doesn’t nickel and dime for small little things like eyebrows or ears, and never rushes the cut. He’s friendly, respectful, and runs his shop with real morals and work ethic, qualities that are rare these days.

This is one of the newer barbershops in Katy, but it deserves to blow up. AD is a hard working guy who’s earned every client and every compliment. I’ll keep coming back every week, and I’ll keep sending people his way, because guys like this deserve to succeed.

Elijah has been cutting my hair for roughly 2 years. Ever since Elijah started cutting my hair I cannot go to any other barber simply because of the fact that they don’t put in as much detail or care or effort as Elijah. There have been times where he has made more time within his schedule to make sure that he is satisfied with the quality of his work before I leave, the level of detail care and overall effort he puts into his work is like no other I currently live in another state and I still call him to this day to get recommendations on Haircuts styles, and have him even send me exact directions to provide my barbers.
