This review is a little late because I forgot to write a review after this incident occurred. I had decided to grab something to eat in October when I first walked in it was a hispanic girl at the register and her attitude was so stink. I ordered a thai iced tea and a chicken bahn mí with egg. Im giving two stars because of the hispanic girls attitude. My thai tea tasted like straight milk, I requested if they can make another and the asian guy asked her if he could when he came back to give me my drink, it didnt taste any different….my food came finally it was decent a little dry and the bread was kinda stale I initially ordered my food to go just in case i didnt finish eating half my sandwich i could just take it home. Due to it being alot of traffic right by the buccees I decided let me just eat it here Im starving. While Im eating my food the hispanic girl keeps staring at me I didnt really make it a big deal but I kept telling my self why is she looking at me like this while Im eating thats weird lol so I finally finish eating, she walks up to where Im sitting and she asked me “are you finished?” And I said yes and she takes my trash, then she says to me “If you are going to sit here and eat you need to order for here and not take out” and I said to her, “if I did order for here and never finished my food, you would have to give me a to-go box correct?” And she didnt say anything just turned around and walked off and I left. But to make long story short, I will not be returning there lol the food was mid and the service...
Read moreMy friend and I tried Vietnam Bistro for lunch today and had a pleasant experience. The location is off I-10 in a newly developed area with plenty of parking. The storefront and restaurant were neat and clean. There were other diners when we arrived but were seated and offered menus immediately. The dining room was clean and tidy and seating was abundant and comfortable. We ordered our drinks and meal and were promptly served. I loved the Vietnamese coffee and my friend enjoyed the iced lavender tea which came with refills (coffee did not). We both ordered Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng which is the grilled pork sandwich and I ordered a cup of broth with noodles. I thought the sandwich was good but not great. The salad or vegetables were abundant but the meat was scarce. The pork tasted dry or a bit overcooked and the portion was overshadowed by the vegetables and large bun. Dipping the sandwich in broth made it next level and I enjoyed it more by adding the hoisin sauce from the table condiment caddy. The cup of soup was really flavorful and I would not hesitate to order Phở on my next visit. We really enjoyed our visit and I will return to get more coffee and try other items on the menu. *On my way out of the door I saw a sign with specials I did not see before we ordered and I would also like to try the special...

My family and I went to this restaurant on their first day of soft opening. Inside the restaurant, the candle chandeliers and massive Vietnamese wall art creates a cozy modern atmosphere.
The wait staffs were very professional, friendly, and attentive. They brought our foods out timely and every so often asked if we needed anything else with a smile.
We had the pork chop rice dish, shaky beef dish, and pho. The pork chop for the rice dish was very flavorful. The shaky beef dish was tender and soft with a delicious sauce to compliment the tastiness of the dish. The broth of the pho dish was full of flavor with the various spices. It was not bland, but just right and brought instant gratification to my taste buds. The Vietnamese iced coffee was flavorful and so addictive. The iced coffee is a must try at this restaurant.
Overall, pricing for the foods are reasonable and are comparable to those at Vietnamese restaurants in the vicinity.
If you like a cozy modern restaurant with good foods and great customer service, then I would highly...
