I have filed official complaint to Better Business Bureau. I want to share here so others don’t go through the same.

In April 2025, I received an Ultherapy treatment at Lab De Skin. The clinic participates in the Merz Aesthetics Xperience+ rewards program, which allows patients to earn points directly from the manufacturer for qualifying treatments. However, months after my visit, I discovered that the business accessed my Xperience+ Merz account without my consent and submitted a false treatment record dated May 2025 in order to claim points from Merz. This was done during a Merz "double points" promotion period, even though I had not visited the clinic at that time. By doing this, the clinic wrongfully obtained double the points (1,300 instead of 650) under my account, then redeemed those points on my behalf without my authorization. When I contacted the business owner about this issue, she did not admit any wrongdoing, refused to apologize, and only offered to refund me half of the points' value ($60 cash) even though the full value was approximately $130. Additionally, the owner has been publicly misleading customers on social media, claiming that: 1. The May "double points" promotion was not from Merz Aesthetics, but from her clinic personally, obtained through purchasing "treatment transducers." 2. The Xperience+ points belong to the clinic, not the patients, and that clinics can decide how to distribute or use them. These statements are FALSE and DECEPTIVE, as the Xperience+ program is clearly a manufacturer-managed customer rewards system. The points are issued to registered patients by Merz, not to providers. I contacted Merz Aesthetics directly on October 3, 2025, to report this. Merz confirmed that what the provider did was unauthorized, and on October 6, Merz restored 1,800 points to my account. Despite this, the provider continues to post misleading claims online, which may deceive other customers into believing that her clinic is the source of these rewards.

The whole experience has been disappointing. The owner still refuses to take responsibility and keeps changing the story, trying to make it seem like I was mistaken. The issue isn’t about points — it’s that they used my account for their own benefit.
