This was a truly delightful dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The ambiance is lovely, with a cozy and authentic Thai decor.
We started with the Tom Yum soup and Papaya salad, which were absolutely fantastic. The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was stunning. I recommend the soup with both chicken and shrimp, it will cost extra but it's amazing.
For our main courses, we ordered the Basil Fried Rice, Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai and Red Curry with chicken. All the dishes were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Basil Fried rice is particularly memorable with its unique blend of spices. This has become a constant for our repeated visits.
The service is impeccable. Our server (Sam and the group) is always (every visit) attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are able to make excellent recommendations and ensures we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
It was clear that the owner's passion for authentic Thai cuisine shone through in every dish. We learned that the owner moved from Los Angeles to Houston to bring a taste of authentic Thai food to the city, and it certainly shows!
Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is charming. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable Thai...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally really disappointed by the food here!!! We were so excited after reading the reviews and the mention in Eater. Huge fans of Thai food so always looking for good go to spots.
We asked for our food Thai hot and asked specifically if they use fresh Thai chillis to make it hot (as opposed to chilli powder/flakes) and they said yes. Not a single thing was even remotely spicy. We asked on the phone and again in person when we went to pick up the food for some extra Thai chillis on the side and they said they kept plenty and that the food was very spicy already saying āis this your first time eating hereā as if it shouldnāt even be something to ask because obviously it was spicy. They didnāt give any chillis on the side and the food was mild and bland
Som Tum(papaya salad) - it was okay. Had some nice flavours to it but lacked any spice. 3/5.
Drunken Noodles - super disappointing! There was something black / burned looking sprinkled all over the top of the noodles. We ordered it with tofu - there were literally maybe 2 pieces of tofu and just carrotsā¦..no spice (literally 0), extremely dry. 1/5.
Panang curry - super super watery, no salt or flavour and absolutely no spice. Panang curry is supposed to be a little thick not like water. Really disappointing. 1/5.
Overall very disappointing experience and buzzkill after being super excited about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe ambience is nice but the food is not up to par with other Thai restaurants I have been to. Everything is slightly sweeter and more sour than typical pad thai, red, Panang, and yellow curries we have had. But it was the service that really was the low point for me. The waitress came by and never took our drink order. She walked by and said 8 waters with no ice as if she assumed it and brought us that. We drank the water. Later she takes our food and another waiter brings out our food. So we realize there are 2. We realized there was 3 only when they came out to eat and have a drink with another customer. They never refilled our waters, never asked us if we need anything, etc. We had to ask for to go boxes after like 10 minutes of seeing no one. We had to ask for our check and the they charged a 25 percent automatic gratuity for a party of 8. I donāt mind giving a generous tip for good service but his was horrible service and borderline rude and unprofessional. Who does not take care of a customer but will sit and eat and drink with another one right in front of you and charge 25 percent gratuity? We will...
