Grand Kabab & Biryani — Restaurant in Texas

We were visiting from Dallas, and decided to try this new spot for Brunch. It's a clean and tidy family owned establishment. The ambience of this restaurant was very warm and welcoming. They owner was very respectful and courteous to our needs. He gave excellent recommendations based on our requirements. The food came out in a little while and it was fresh and piping hot. We were so impressed with the sheer quality and phenomenal taste of their Food. I've travelled a lot and I can safely say, this was by far the BEST Halwa Puri I've tried in America. The Anda Paratha, Aloo Curry was also rich in flavor. The owner and his team were very hospitable, they kept coming periodically to check if we needed anything. We ate like Kings and topped it off with some fresh and organic Sugar Cane juice (owner recommended). Houston is land of authentic & amazing Desi Food. To open a restaurant in such a cut-throat market, and be able to beat such fierce competition is truly commendable. I highly recommend this place. If you don't believe me, just go try them...

If you are sensitive to spicy food, this might no be the cuisine for you. Even then, take time to discuss the spice levels to their rice dishes.

I love Indi culture cuisine. I love spiced food. They are the only ones I know thus far that make Paneer tikka Kabab. Kabob Korner used to offer that dish and they removed it. It broke my heart.

They have wonderful customer service. Over the phone is a bit testy, but in person the woman at the register conneted with me and was happy yo see that I found some of the videos on their TV very touching and funny while I waited for the food.

My only string feedback on the dishes is to inform customers on the spice levels and ensure that some of the product has the described ingrediants. The chicken we ordered didnt look like the photo and my partner didnt like it. My paneer tikka didnt have grilled onions.

I had high hopes with this place first and last time, however when ordering not having a lot of experience with Biryani, I asked if it came with rice in where the the employee responded that no. In that case I ordered separately which was almost 3 dollars for white rice. When getting my order I saw it came with rice plus the rice I had ordered. I voiced my concerns to the employee about how I had asked him if it came with rice in where he had responded that no. He stated that that's what Biryani is with rice and chicken regardless if I had asked and assured just to make sure. Another employee that was there rolled her eyes at me while I voiced my concern.
