We just had lunch here and we enjoyed the experience. The owner is super nice and friendly. We joked with him about FIFA and he joked back and we had a very pleasant conversation with him. He also checked on us a few times to make sure we were doing okay. The girl who served us was nice, too. She was attentive and friendly and she was prompt.
The food was so good! The empanadas were so delicious especially the four cheese one. It reminded me of my mom's cheese empanada. The picaña (not sure about the spelling) was super delicious. We both loved it so much. The skirt steak was really good, too. And if you add chimichury sauce to it, it takes it to a whole nother level. The pickled onions that came with the empanadas were good, too.
There was live music and the whole place looked nice and clean. The restrooms are clean and smell nice. Overall, it was a great experience and we would love to come back again. In fact, we loved the empanadas so much that we bought a box of 14 to give to our...
Read moreUnfortunately, my experience ordering for pick up was not good. First, it is absurdly difficult to place the order as staff barely speaks English. Eventually, order was placed and picked up but upon opening packages at home it seemed the rice portion sent was way too small (see photo; milk cartoon serves as reference). I called and attempted to clarify whether they had made a mistake and sent something for less than 3 people which was the original order. That task was just impossible to be completed as the individual on the phone could not understand what the question was and kept providing responses disconnected from the question. Ultimately, he said he was going to report my complaint to the manager… Curious as to what he’d report since he could not grasp the issue. At that point I just gave up, thanked him and hung up. I, certainly, cannot recommend this place to anyone.
UPDATE: I am glad you ask abou the food. No, it did not live up to the expectations. Everything was very bland...
Read moreI give them 5 stars in food because I’ve been many times in Argentina and the quality is the best just as in Buenos Aires. Been at Pampa many times. Unfortunately I went today with my kid and husband as I have done before and the experience with the service was horrible. There was only one table active besides us, and the train of waitresses had little to nothing to do. Up to here it is totally fine. But the fact that they were all together on a “frat club” kinda way, talking gossiping and yapping about US, made the experience super uncomfortable. Looking at us straight in the eye not even being discreet about it, was a horrible sensation for us as customers. Of course after the staring came fear laughter. Please, if the owner of this place read this, teach better you staff even if there’s nobody to serve, the should know better than gossiping about the second table that arrived. We left and I am not going back. SUPER...
