KJ Skate Zone — Local services in Kaufman

I live 30 minutes away from Skate Zone. As a family, we always do a special Family Valentine's Adventure each year. This year was the first time our 10, 5, and toddler had ever been roller skating. It was well worth the 30-minute drive last night (FRI)! It is the hidden gem of Kaufman.

This venue was amazing. Really nostalgic feeling of when I roller skated as a kid. The facility was clean and well-maintained. DJ music were classics from 80's to 2000's! My toddler rocked out to "Who Let the Dogs Out." for the first time.

Skate Zone is very family friendly and affordable. Toddlers are free. We also got skate walkers for each of our newbie skaters. The owner was onsite within the skate floor monitoring teenagers for rowdiness. She was very friendly and fair with everyone.

They also had a good rhythm of open skate, teen, 10 and under with parents, and also game times. We really appreciated the 10 and under skate time. Because it gave our littles a chance to get used to skating without any teens speeding by.

If you are a family looking for good clean fun on the weekend... I highly recommend Skate Zone. Also, the management is exceptional and friendly. They really have the vibe for a skating rink.

Think of it this way... I took the time on Valentine's Weekend to write a 5-star review. That is how much this place means to my family. Our children woke up this morning asking if we were going skating...

We had my daughters 7th birthday party here last Saturday. I had heard nothing but great things about them hosting parties and so happy to report it was the best! I didn't know what to expect as far as being able to decorate but we walked in the owner and host were ready to help and the most friendly people! We had so many people come and enjoy the party and I do not have one thing to complain about. We will definitely be recommending this to others as well as booking future parties. It was so nice being able to rent out the entire space for such an affordable price! Thanks again...

We went here for a Homeschooling Skate Day. I really appreciate them doing this event exclusive for homeschooling children. They only charged 5$ including skate rental and parents didn't have to pay if they weren't going to skate. The employees were super friendly and extra helpful. The food was what you would expect from a skating rink. The only thing I didn't like was how it smelled in there, and our clothes smelled like it when we got home, like fried food. They played games also. It isn't super big...
