Update: Went to the same Verizon store today; however, this nice man named Tim was the one who helped me. Tim is from the Gun Barrel store and was patient, honest, and willing to answer my questions. I also learned the name of the original person this post was about. Her name is Kate. She lied to my husband and told him that he was receiving 5 accessories for FREE. Tim pulled up his receipt since I wanted the same deal and showed my husband where he was charged for all 5 accessories. š³ Luckily, my husband had all the original packaging at home. We went home and returned 4 of the 5 because he was getting the screen protector either way.
Long story shortā¦Go to Tim at Gun Barrel and donāt do business with Kate at the Kaufman location.
PSā¦the sweet new person was Marissa. Once she learns how things work, she will be GOLDEN!
Today, I went to the Kaufman store to upgrade my phone and get a new Apple Watch. The store manager was sitting with friends and chatting. She looked at a new employee and said hereās one for you. No big deal. People have to learn. When I sat down with the new employee, the manager asked if I wanted the liquid glass screen protector and I said, āYesā. The new employee had never done that before and the manager said, āClick it open, squirt it on the screen, and let it cure for 5 minutesā. The new employee looked very nervous. The manager said something about a new plan and I asked some clarifying questions about cost and what it entails. The manager looked at the new employee and said, āJust pull up the plan and read it to herā and proceeded to put her purse on her shoulder and left the store.
How dare that manager leave a new employee alone! I feel sorry for that employee. Would you want a permanent liquid screen put on by someone who has never done it without someone supervising the application? Would you blindly upgrade your plan without asking differences and costs?
I picked up my purse and walked out of that store and will not do business with a manager like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot a corporate store. Normally I would say this doesnt matter. However my experience with this store is that it does matter greatly!!! Apparently I was sold phones with a promo that doesnt work with my situation, and I had no way of knowing this. They sold me phones under the terms that wont work and theres nothing that can be done to fix it. I spent 2 plus hours on the phone with a very nice man from Verizon trying to solve my issue when I saw my bill is not as expected.. Verizon was willing to split the problen with the store, each coverig half of the discrency in order to horor what I was told at the time of sale. The store said no, my only option was to return the phonea and try to find a promo that they can offer. Oh by the way, doing so would result in me having to pay fees for activating the new new set of phones etc. And I traded my phone in so if I return my phones I'm really messed up. So I cannot even just go back to what I had to begin with until we can change companies. Huge mess that I will definitely not be coming, out on top,of. Only question is how bad will thw damage be and how long will I suffer the effects of poor buainess....
Not knowledgable about services and clearly doesnt have good business practices to honor what they say.
I rarely leave negative feedbacks but this over the top bad business practices....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I just had the worst experience at the Kaufman store. Walked in at 5:05 to only one worker lounging on the couches in his phone and he asked if I had an appt. I told him no and he stated that he would not be able to help us because he had an appt that was supposed to be there at 5. We asked him if he wanted us to leave and he said āI mean she was supposed to be here so I guess I can help youā. We told him we would go somewhere else and he said that we should have set an appt. We told him we were leaving because we didnāt want to burden him and he continued to say āthey are a authorized dealer so calling cooperate would be pointlessā. Almost makes me want to switch from them...
