I am absolutely blown away with the level of service provided at this Whataburger. I am from the Houston area and I am a regular at several Whataburger‘s in my area. I was traveling back from Dallas and ran into some transmission issues on my truck. The only available hotel I could find was the best Western in Kaufman.
I lived in a town just after midnight and went to the Whataburger to get my kiddos some food. When I walked up to the Whataburger the door was locked since the dining area closed at midnight. With my transmission stuck in fifth gear I knew I would not be able to stop and go in the drive-through. I called the number and was greeted by Cindy, who I believe to be the manager.
I explain to Cindy the problem I was having an asked if there was anyway that I could place an order for curbside. She’s told me that they were not doing curbside however, she would be happy to take my order over the phone and bring it out to me as soon as it was ready.
20 minutes later, a smiling lady came to the door with my order. Despite it being VERY clear that they were overwhelmed with a crowd from a musical festival, Cindy was so incredibly nice and Sincere and exuded a bright and contagious smile.

Read moreI am giving the management and staff of this location the benefit of a doubt, even though my order special requests were verbally repeated back to me correctly, but the receipt shows my requests different from what I asked for. The grill people only know what is on the order tickets the cashier prints up, and the cashier did not specify on the receipt as I asked them to make my order. When I brought this to the store general manager, she was very upset about what happened, but thankful for me telling honestly what went wrong. My entire order got remade and was finally correct. Whataburger policy states that if any part of, or entire order is incorrect, it is to be MADE AGAIN, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Most other fast food places would just laugh at you for complaining and tell you to just not come back. Whataburger will not tolerate this happening. SEVEN times they’ve gotten my order wrong and one time I waited 39 minutes in line just for some rude girl to give me awful attitude. I went today to get my reimbursement meal because they messed my order up last week when I ordered a chicken strip basket and they gave me the wrong drink and no bread. I was told when I called to let them know, to come back and they’ll have my name and replace it. Apparently not. I was told they couldn’t give me the food when I just pulled up. Was never told to write my name on a receipt or speak to a manager. The young girl just said what’s your name okay they wrote it down.
