Went into Hanna’s nail salon today with my mother, we learned it was under new management. Both of our experiences were horrible, even with the 15% off my (acrylic nails just needed a fill) costed $51. So the price increased, and the service went way, way down hill. My mother and I both had 1:00 appointments, we got there 10 minutes early, did the new sign in, and told the new people what we would like done. It was a cat eye paint for my mom, and mine was black with the gold foil on the ends. First thing that the guy did was grind my color off, then took a nail clippers and started clipping off my acrylic nails- I was like wait wait, I got up and went to the other lady who spoke a little bit better English, and asked why is he cutting my nails off?? I just needed a fill- needles to say I sit back down thinking it’s figured out and he was telling me, sorry I will add more on top… I said no, your not just adding more acrylic to my nail, you broke the nail, it has air pockets in them you have to take them off and re do this hand.. I got up a second time, and went back to the woman and my mom and said I don’t think he understands you have to remove the nail completely, look at the air pockets in my nails from him cutting them with the toe-nail clippers. They spoke, she said he was sorry he misunderstood.. asked my mom to go to his station and the lady would fix my nails. Yes, she did fix them, were they good no, not even the paint job was good, it seemed like she was not comfortable with her station, kept moving things back and forth, and the application was not up to the cuticle. I get done and I looked at my moms nails, they were rough, chunky and the cuticle line was very crooked, non of her nails are the same length. My mother said he was very rough and was aggressive when moving her hands around to file them. Sad to say, but we will not be back- this was my salon...

When asked what color I simply asked if the regular perfect match polish had the gel polish, after being argued with and told no they didn’t have the perfect match gel polish, I said forget it, then 10 minutes passed and miraculously the perfect match color appeared. During the finishing touches of cutting and filing my toes, a dremel filer was used this cut my toe in a straight line right below my cuticle and on the top of my 2nd toe and cut my one big toe very short, all nails not even. This was about 45 minutes into the pedicure (just a basic) then the gentleman started painting my toes with gel polish, after about 4 layers of gel with no curing he starts removing the polish that got onto my skin, still has yet to put it under the light. This process took about 25 minutes before he went to get help with polishing my toes. Then someone else came over and tried blaming it on the polish because it was new and to thin, if it was new it would be thick, it would only be thin if acetone was added in order to make it thinner. I have never left a pedicure in so much pain from being cut. Absolutely ridiculous! No tip given as I even had a hard time paying for the very poor service in the first place. Do not recommend this place and if I could do 0 stars that is what...
Read moreI was referred here by a co worker. I was about to give up on nail salons because I have had such bad experiences. I had Leah/Le for my pedicure & Gel polish. I told him everything I was afraid of, what had happened to me before and he was able to offer me assurance and make me feel comfortable. I have never had a pedicure that detailed. My 1st pedicure that was enjoyable. I felt relaxed. He was asking me if I was okay. He let me know what he was going to do before he did it. I would highly recommend him. My biggest compliment for him is that he did not rush.
I had Emily for my full set of acrylics. I also told her that I was scared of the burning. I was relieved to find out that she knew what I was talking about. She was ready to handle it (with the spray) as soon as I told her it was burning she sprayed my nails right away. She was constantly asking if I was okay. She also asked many times if I was okay with the shape. She was very detailed, she did not rush.
She also stayed an hour late for my nails. After my toe nails their closing time was approaching so I told them I can come back another day for my finger nails. I didn't want to make anyone stay late. Emily told me I should just stay and get them done now while I was...
