New China wok inc — Restaurant in Kaukauna

This was our first time eating here. My husband and I came in around 5pm. We did a take out through their in restaurant self check out register. We waited 15 minutes-ish extra after we order. The cashier said " It would be 15 - 20 minutes wait." Note, we were not the only ones who were waiting. Fair warning the self check out register did not print our receipt.

Doors to the kitchen is wide open so if there's any drama, it's basically out in the open to all the customers. Cashier was complaining and freaking out. Manager spent 5 minutes on the phone after we order. She started complaining like 5 minutes after words when orders did not get cooked.... Reason being within those 10 minutes. The receipt machine in the kitchen was beeping like crazy due to no paper in the machine. The manager told the cashier to change the printer paper. Only because she was the one who complain about what to do. Before changing the paper, all the cashier said was "Who tells a 16 year old to change receipt paper?". Manager maybe wrong for asking the cashier to change the receipt paper but cashier is also wrong because she should have been professional and ask properly to the manager on how to do change the paper. I would assume the register in the front is different than the one in the kitchen. However, it's very unprofessional for anyone at any age to be acting immature at any job. Especially out in the open to all customers.

We came for our food not the restaurant's drama.

We placed our order online and the website made it very easy to order and make any modifications-which we did. The site predicted a delivery time of 65 minutes and we received a confirmation email. After about 90 minutes had passed, we called the restaurant to be sure our order had been received and the woman on the phone was very apologetic and ensured us that our food was almost done. It was obvious that they were extremely busy this evening, and she apologized multiple times. 2 hours and 10 minutes after we placed our order, it was delivered. We ordered meals for 5 people, each with slight modifications, and the order was 100% correct and it was very hot. It tasted great! And they also included a free container of orange chicken and a certificate for 25% off our next order with them. We were in no rush for our food this evening, but we greatly appreciated their excellent customer service and amazing food. I was excited about this restaurant opening up ever since I drove by and saw their “Coming soon” sign. They have been opened just shy of a week now and I was finally able to give them a try. The interior of the restaurant was nice and clean, brightly lit and well decorated. When I first took a look at the menu, I was quite surprised by the shear number of choices that they offer. (I hope long term that they can sustain such an enormous menu, but there are certainly enough choices for anyone.) I am looking forward to trying a many more dishes! The staff was very friendly and wanted to ensure a positive experience. They were knowledgable that some people might have a sensitivity to MSG and advertise that they do not use it. The food was amazing - fresh and wonderfully prepared, and large portions for the price.
