I had a horrible experience with Gary Michael’s FOR MY WEDDING. Starting off, we ordered my husbands suit, and we bought it not rented. 1 month before our wedding they called and said the lost his suit. Literally lost it. Couldn’t find it. They ordered a new suit and it took 2 weeks. Wedding day rolls around and we find out that the suit we bought that comes with EVERYTHING he needs, was the wrong vest color and missing the white button undershirt AND shoes! Immediately called Gary Michael’s and Deric or whatever his name is, was no help at all, and did not care about the situation. He told us that they did not have any white shirts available at the store however, come to find out that they did have white shirts for sale directly on the rack right in front of him!! This just shows negligence And so unprofessional on behalf of Gary Michael’s! I do not recommend this suit shop. Not organized at all, employees are not trained well and they lose the GROOMS suit. With a store that is so popular for prom and weddings, I would expect for their employees to be professional and organized, but losing the grooms suit and not giving us what we ordered is absolutely uncalled for. This is not over Gary, Michaels. The picture is a reference for the color difference. It was suppose to be a dark teal but instead of was a light teal. On your wedding day, you shouldn’t have to worry about tuxes and other things but I had to worry about the tuxes because they didn’t measure good at all. Grooms was a little tight and both of our dads tuxes were tight. So they could still wear it they had to leave a few buttons undone on the shirts. The the grooms dad his vest and jacket were really tight. They were going to over night it and it want there. They wanted to send it here on the wedding day or send it to the store. We said forget it and just worked with what we had. Most of the wedding party couldn’t try on their tuxes and see if they fit either, they should just fit. And they say they can get it in time but they don’t. I do NOT recommended this place at all. Waste of money. And they almost had us pay for a groomsmen tux because last minute he got deployed. Like we can’t help that. Never using this place again for anything and NOT going to tell people to use this place!!!!! Also they gave one of his groomsmen the grooms tux so we had to get a hold of them and exchange the tuxes. Thank goodness he was on his break and could bring it to us. Can’t you read and give the right person the right tux. First it was the wrong tux to the wrong person then them being tight. I was so fed up with this place. It was an awful experience. Messed up our ties and we had to go in and realized it was all wrong, fixed it and then called the week before my wedding and said they didn’t get a measurement of my groomsmen’s. The week of all of our pants were wrong and had to have stuff shipped over night and they were the exact same size. After we turned them all back in they put the blame on us saying we switched pants around when no one had the right pants. They were rude and did not help much at all. I’d give zero stars but it did not allow. If you’re planning a wedding do not go here unless you want constant issues.
