Edit2: Shiv Game's new store owner reached out to me and worked with me to make things right. I was a bit hesitant based on my last interactions with the previous owner, but they wiped away my doubts. They were very kind, professional, and understanding of my situation. I would recommend coming here to get your miniatures.

Edit: After leaving this review, I have been kicked and banned from the shiv discord. I did not break any rules, use slurs, or make others feel unwelcomed. I was a newish 40k player who wanted to meet people and get to know the game. But because I voiced my discontent at my current situation here, I was removed from a public space. The owners are NOT friendly if you have problems with their products.

I had a few missing pieces (incorrect bases and missing a plague marine sprue) in my box set and they refuse to refund me and instead tell you to contact Games Workshop directly.

Games Workshop tells you to go through the provider I purchased it from, so they can order pieces. Shiv is refusing to do this as well. It basically leads to a frustrating situation where nobody wants to claim responsibility and help me out.

They didn't make this apparent that this was their policy until after I purchased everything. So I guess...

Bought products from store and never received them. Store received payment and will not give refund or give product that was purchased. To add on the owner has now claimed that I am blackmailing him for my refund. I’ll let it be known here that I would not recommend this store to anyone. I gave the store a one star after 3 emails of him saying the same thing to my concern and not addressing the issue. The owner is not willing to admit fault and assumes his clients are liars! Do not give them your money!....I am not sending u anything of the sort, I am not scamming you. Jeff and his staff have been great every time I have been to the store whether it's just me, or when I take my son out on Sundays to drive around. My son walks in and says, "HI Jeff!" which Jeff chuckles and always responds.

I've lived in multiple states, and have visited multiple game stores, and Shiv is up there at the top for sure. The staff is always willing to chat with you, and will help you out if you have questions. My son gets so excited to go in and just look at 40k stuff after watching battles on YouTube that he is now saving up for some Orcs for Kill Team :). He's only 6, but the staff is great with him.

If they don't have something in stock they will order it for you. I've purchased paints and DnD figures and it's always a great experience. I have no reason to shop anywhere else.
